They have cupcakes with different flavors and pretty designs. The taste seemed okay and the place is nice. The owner was very accommodating too. Overall, it’s a good place to order good cupcakes without any hassle.

Cupcakes are gorgeous and service is friendly! Came in here to buy a cupcake for my daughter’s birthday… she wanted the Avalanche (chocolate cupcake with white frosting and fudge and caramel drizzles). She devoured it. I found the cupcake to be a bit too sweet for my liking, but I could be biased because I am not a cake person. But I’m happy to give the place 4 stars based on service and variety/​availability of cupcakes. Check in on Unilocal and receive 10% off your first order!

Got cupcakes from here last year for my college graduation party… the cupcakes were fantastic, everyone had great things to say. I personally really like the cupcakes, the cake is actually moist and has great flavor (don’t find that too often if you really pay attention to the cake part). The service was also great, very kind and they provided everything they said they would and at the time they said.
Went back today and spoke with the new owner. He was very kind and helpful. Also got a cupcake to try and they are still just as delicious as I remember.
We have tried multiple flavors and I have not been disappointed with any!

Omg! That chocolate drip is my new fave. Before had the ham&swiss panini and right into that crazy chocolate dipped chocolate cupcake !! Its new in the menu and these guys definitely deserve every cents that they get. Also must try the red velvet! And they had a new special for mothers day so i ordered for my mom! Im pretty sure she will love it!

Wonderful customer service but the cupcakes are a no thank you for me. You can taste the oldness. You can definitely tell that they have been sitting in the fridge for a few days and they taste refrigerated (you know that unpleasant taste that open food in the fridge gets after a few days? That’s what I’m talking about).
Besides that, the frosting is very heavy and not very tasty. Sorry but they were terrible:(

Spur of the moment, I run into the cupcake store to grab a sandwich. I was greeted by friendly & helpful staff. I resist those beautiful cupcakes shouting my name & wait for my three cheese & veggie sandwich (I ordered mine with a little pesto… good call)
Wow…I was pleasantly surprised to bite into such a tasty & fresh sandwich!
The Cupcake Store is not just for cupcakes anymore!

I live in Chicago and I wanted to send something fun to my God daughter for her birthday.
It was so easy and quick. I called them, placed an order of six and they delivered them to their home. They were so nice on the phone and helpful. My god daughter and her family loved the cupcakes! I’m going to do it again for my god sons birthday this month! Thanks to everyone at The Cupcake Store!

I ordered a custom 8″ round purple rosette ombré cake (I found it on Pinterest originally) from them and they did a wonderful job! Because it had 4 layers, it was very large and could feed at least 30 people. The price was fair ($ 85) compared to other bakeries and they were very attentive and helpful when I described my request over the phone, and I also texted a picture to Batu, the owner, I believe. The morning of, the employee working there was nice enough to help me carry it to my car since it was rather heavy. Very moist inside! Pictures below.

What a great place. What makes it great is Anna! She was marvelous! She has such a great spirit, so sweet, very attentive, knows her stuff, simply amazing! Anna you are a gem. She really loves her job and never stops smiling. She is such a sweetheart I can’t say it enough. If your ever in the area ask for Anna she will take incredible care of you. Thank you Anna for outstanding service!!!

Didn’t order cupcakes but ate a sandwich due to default. I tried to order chicken salad but they «are changing their menu» and «do not offer chicken.» So Instead I asked for turkey avocado. Worst sandwich ever! It also said it came with potato salad or green salad but again, I got the «we are changing our menu and do not offer that!» Wtf! It was a pricey cheap sandwich that my toddler could’ve made! Will never come here again! Oh, and they have LOUD machine inside and it’s annoying!

I love cupcakes! This being said the owner addressed my tastes and concerns when purchasing cupcakes. I came in at about 8 am and I was hungry! Immediately chose this place over starbucks. I grabbed breakfast bagel with egg, cheddar and bacon + a blended mocha. Delicious! Cupcakes are divine. They have regular cakes too!!! I would recommend to anyone. :)

Delicious cupcakes! & they just started serving breakfast and lunch! The lox bagel is my favorite here as well as the red velvet cake. It is just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy my sweet tooth. I will definitely be coming back & letting my friends know about this hidden gem.

Finally found a cupcake store that actually makes fabulous cupcake. The valentines Ted velvet was dreamy. The frosting light and airy not overly sweet.
It was fantastic. Although I wasn’t able to eat it right away it was still delightful. My only criticism was that it was frozen or close to it when I bought it. I prefer fresh baked not baked hours before I arrive and then need to defrost.

The cupcake store has really stepped up its game and has made itself a contender to other cupcake stores. They also surprising have great coffee! Organic Java coffee!!! The new owner/​chef was extremely helpful and gave me exactly what looking for in my up coming Super Bowl party! Super bowl cupcakes for the Win!!!

They have a large variety of cupcake and the staff is so helpful. I came in with my son and wife We had the coconut, mint chip and French raspberry they were all so good and fresh. They also have organic coffee. We ll definetly be coming back!

This place is under new management. As an avid sweet tooth, I noticed when I came here before, the cupcakes were not as fresh and the cakes were doughy. Now they are light and airy. Come check it out now and you won’t be disappointed! Don’t forget to try their new organic coffee as well. New owner, fresh cupcakes, friendly staff! I will come back for my cake cravings!

I came here few days ago to get a coffee that happen to be organic and to pick up some cupcake for the office and everyone loved it! One of my coworker is a regular and told me it’s under new management and better than before. So I came back today to get a panini and it was delicious as well and the team super friendly. Will be back more often now for sure. Try it!

I’ve been here so many times and just now getting to writing a review. I absolutely love these cupcakes. They are always so fresh and moist. There cupcakes I prefer due to them being a lighter style cake, rather than some places where the cake is a little more dense. The frosting and flavors are always so tasty. Picked a dozen up today for my visit to my dentist office, and everyone that had one absolutely loved them and needed to know exactly where this store is! I cannot comment on the cakes here because I’ve never had one, but for me,…the BEST cupcakes around! Love em!!!
