Make sure to make a reservation because it’s small, perfect place for a date or a girls night. Yummy wine and yummy food. I ordered the scallops which were very good, try the molten cake for dessert trust me :)

I don’t really come to this side of the town(except for villa Roma which is one of my fav if i ever wanted a kickass steak sandwich with chimichuri sauce for like literally free!, or to get some stuff at Zara when the southcoast store wouldnt carry my size!) but I came here with a friend few days ago, for one of their wine tasting event, and I wasnt expecting much of this place, except to see few good bottles of wine, and a nice place to sit and drink. But I left very impressed. its owned by this sweet Irish couple, so I would totally trust them with drinks! the owner Darren has the cutest accent when he talks, and i know that is not why you go to a wine bar, but it helps. The place and ambiance reminds of one of those restaurants you see in the movie ‘The Trip’ with Steve Coogan. Very intimate, about dozen tables, with a bar with lots of wine by the glass in one of those fancy smancy machines that keeps wine fresh. It kind of extends into a full service bar area and restaurant/gastropub. i guess they wanted wine people to be left alone from other alchol drinks. which makes sense! now on to the subject of wine, this particular day we opted for wine tasting, and I was just hoping to get few reds and few whites and get buzzed, but we had like hand selected wines that I never heard of, with so many stories, and the guy who purchases wine, i guess he travels to places and find good wine to purchase, so he had all the little stories of how he found them and the people that make these wines. anyways, I felt l like i was in the sideways movie for a min! All the wines we had were good, the people were well informed, knew their wine.(not reading out of a booklet kind of informed, but like i know my sh*t kind of informed!). I would definitely recommend this place, to anyone that is looking for a quite/low key night out! if you want to luxuriate and want sparkles and glitter, you should really head out to Newport, not to Mission Viejo! I would totally go back!

Amazing service, incredible food, and a stellar wine selection! We got to eat with the owner tonight who loves to walk around and meet the clients. Every dish was so tasty. You must try the bread pudding!!!

What a great place! The parking lot is interesting, they do have valet but you can park anywhere on top if there are spots open. We were able to park in the 10min spot because it was after 6. We went on a Friday evening with no reservation and we got a table right away! They have an amazing wine selection and they also had live music when we went. Very fun. We both ordered the sliders with fries and they were delicious!!! I wish i had room for dessert because their selections looked great and mouth watering. Service was good our hostess and waitress were both nice but our waitress was a little slow getting our stuff but it was a packed house so its understandable. But we will definitely be going regularly and also want to try Dublins next door!

Love, love, LOVE this place. Amazing wine, great ambiance, the owner is so caring and always there. My favorite appetizer is the burrata crustini. Amazing! The place is small, so make a reservation. Seating is pretty close to other tables, so I wouldn’t recommend planning on having a totally private conversation there. Eat, laugh and enjoy. It’s a hidden gem in Mission Viejo with some of the best wines in the OC.

Great place in a random location. Had a great date night here with my husband. Loved the mixed cheese plate and wines that were recommended by our young adorable waitress. Hubby has lamb sliders and I had the short ribs. Both were delicious. I would like to come back for happy hour soon to try some more goodies!

After a long day working in South OC, I got the bright idea for a little Happy Hour. Directly off the 405 at Oso Parkway sits this little place next to it’s sister restaurant Dublin 4 Gastropub. With wine on the mind, we headed over to Wineworks for Everyone to participate in some happy hour fun. This is a very cool wine store, restaurant and general gathering place for the wine connoisseur. With there wide selections of everything wine, everyone is sure to find a what they are looking for. We sat down at the large communal table and promptly ordered a bottle of Big Table Farms Pinot Noir 2013, finally the day is getting better. If Pinot is your thing, this is a great option. However, if your on a budget they this may not be your path. No worries, they have many more affordable options in the $ 15 range that are very nice. Off the Happy Hour menu we ordered a double order of White Truffle Thyme Frites, Braised Pork Belly BLT and Merquez Marinated Lamb Slider. All of the above went down so beautifully with our very impressive Pinot. We love our Pinot so much, we grabbed another bottle to go and continued on our merry way home.

Wineworks For Everyone is located in a small plaza next to Dublins and Starbucks on Oso. I must say, this place is definitely a hidden gem! I have drove by many times and just assumed this place was a wine shop where customers just purchase wine but never have I thought it is also a restaurant and wine bar. Parking first off is a bit of a challenge as there is limited parking space but Valet is also available for $ 5. I just have to mention, the valet attendant was quick and I was really impressed as it was a night(1⁄6) that the weather was raining quite heavily(El Niño) and he got my car out to me with such quickness. I made reservations through Open table and as I walked in I quickly got greeted. The place is so cute and quaint. Intimate lighting, casual setting and remarkable endless displays of wine. I ordered 2 glasses of there Reisling which was so delicious and crisp. Starters: –BRIEFONDUE: My favorite cheese appetizer by far for 2016. Gooey brie cheese served with small toast slices and fresh thin pear slices. Such a great combination and great pairing with my wine. — TUNATATAR: Delicious fresh ahi tuna served with an herbed chip. Entrees: BRAISEDSHORTRIB: Tender yet juicy short rib over creamy mashed potato and roasted carrots and parsnips. SEAREDDIVERSCALLOPS: 3 decent sized scallop displays on top of creamy parsnip purée. Fantastic and light. Dessert: Complimentary crème Brule.(friends birthday) Overall I went home ranting and raving about this hidden gem and had such a great dining experience. Will definitely recommend this place! Food and wine was amazing Service was phenomenal! I can’t wait to be back and also try there happy hour!

First and foremost PARKING here is like parking at college when your looking for a spot to park that’s close by! Yeah all most non existent but there’s valet which to me makes no sense to a localè that’s like right off the freeway and little space to go around to bat, but oh well! :) The ambiance is really romantic and comforting but don’t plan on it being quiet! It can get pretty loud even when I could barely hear the piano music being played. Food — Ive been quite fortunate in experiencing many dishes across thy home, Amurrikah! This place does NOT disappoint at all! Crab Cakes were scrumptious and flaky! Crab not over powering, not drenched in oil like most places I’ve ordered and it went well w/the sauces the n the side. Mary’s Duck Breast– I’m VERY particular to where I order duck and know that it won’t be up to the standards that I’ve known over the years living in San Francisco, but not here!!! Moist, tender, flavor packed especially for it being done medium rare! My hats off to the chef, purely exquisite with the potatoe medallions and caramellized onions in truffle oil! C’est magnifique! Lamb Loin in herb & olive oil, with greens and potatoes! Once again not many places can keep the lamb protein portion juicy, moist and tender to compliment the potatoes and greens! By all means is this place not cheap I dropped $ 200 w/4 glasses of wine(2 red, 2 white) but it was my birthday so to me IDGAF while many others would! Will I come back hell to the freaking yeah buuuuuut not anytime soon. This place is sorta special and definitely a good ¾th date place when trying to cement the foundations of a relationship… if she’s into this ambiance that is! LMAO Oh btw, Sharlan/Sharly was one hell of a bar maid she gave me like 2⁄3 wine options per meal to try out which I thought would pair great! Pair they did, INDEED!

The wine selection was awesome. Our waiter Samantha was super cool. The biggest problem was a super loud table behind us. They over served them. They were super loud and drunk and the entire wine bar was upset. The manager never addressed them. So overall if you hit it on a mellow night it would be great. Bring your credit card because it is pricy.

LOVE this place! Great ambiance and delicious food. We’ve taken guests and been a few times ourselves and have always been impressed. They are conscientious about their sourcing as well, which is nice. Huge wine selection for dining or purchase. The location is a bit funky, be prepared to valet as there is little parking, but you might get lucky! The service has been great so far, and Darren the owner is a delight. Also try through Pub next door. Same owner and more beer-centric.

Overrated, waited 15 minutes for a glass of water… mistake in the check of $ 21 on a bottle of white that was $ 49 on the menu! Food is good but I expected over the top service!

Second time here and decided to meet some colleagues fro dinner this time. As most of those that know me, due to growing up with a chef(dad) and travel across the globe, I am a «tough customer». I have to say– last night went so beyond my expectations– I have to write about it. From wine selection(of course went for the Brunello di Montalcino) to the food(duck breast, lamb and salmon) including the service– everything was 5+ stars. The owner is a «hands on» friendly fellow and I will definitely go back soon. All my colleagues have never been there and will now add this restaurant to their list. This place is a hidden gem– you MUST come and try to dine here. They did add valet as the parking lot is small($ 5 fee) but it’s worth not having your car taken care of).

I give the food 5 stars but for parking I give it 2 stars. I understand that parking gets bad after 4 pm but to charge customers to valet park for 5 bucks whether you are there for dinner or for a drink is just bad. There are empty spaces in the back to self park but you still have to pay valet. Should pay for valet only when all self parking is gone. The valet guy works for the restaurant owner.

A hidden gem in an otherwise bleak landscape that is the south Orange County food scene. Food: Great for sharing. Delicious. Great presentation. High quality. Pair with wine. Staff. The owner couple are warm, personal, and inviting. Came up to our table to see how we were doing. They can often be seen mingling or eating their own food in the dining room amongst the rest of us. I think it says a lot. Environment. Cozy, warm, and inviting.

I do love me wine bars! I wish there were more to select from and frequent! I was initially planning to go for a night of jazz music but wanted something more chill-this place was perfect! I luckily got a parking spot in the tiny parking lot, and once inside it wasn’t too crowded. The wine menu was pretty robust as was the apps menu and entreé list. I started with a sweet white Riesling. I thought it was great! For our meal we shared the Brie fondue and the lamb sliders with shoestring fries. The fondue was killer – I could eat that all day long. It came with some bread slices and pear. The pear was the perfect accompaniment. The sliders were rich and juicy and the shoestring fries had the right amount of garlic on them. We were able to get extra pear slices as there weren’t enough to go around ;) I ended my night with an Irish coffee, which I didn’t love at all. It was a pricy evening: for 3 glasses of wine, two apps and a specialty coffee it was close to $ 50 a person. So it wouldn’t be a regular thing for me :(

My husband and I are big fans of WineWorks for Everyone and the sister restaurant next door, Dublin 4 Gastropub. I like to get the Wine Flight so that I can try a variety of different wines with my appetizers. We haven’t been disappointed in the food or the wines yet. Make a reservation, because it does get busy and there’s not much room to stand and wait for a table.

Used to come here quite a bit and recently returned after a couple years hiatus. Happy to say it’s still as great a place as always… great wine selection, friendly service, delish food and just a great place to meet friends or for a date night. They also have an awesome HH til 6pm with lots of great wines and some of their best dishes on discount. Be sure to try the burrata bruschetta(sinful!) and the lamb sliders(super juicy and flavorful!). Speaking of food, the other nice thing is that Dublin4 is right next door so it’s super convenient to pop-over there, and their food is equally as delicious! The only downside here is the parking lot is tiny and while the center does offer valet parking, they don’t validate so it does costs $ 5. Small price to pay but I know that may be a deterrent for some.
