First time ordering from LoneStar and it was the best decision! I ordered for a party of 10 and the food was amazing! Chopped Brisket is finger-licking good lol. The beans and the potato salad are delicious as well. Customer service was great.

Not the greatest, but it was ok. Brisket was dry, like it was under a heat lamp.

Horrible service. Greeted with a frown. Potato salad was not what should be served in a BBQ diner. Hush puppies where cold and hard. And the BBQ sauce was not tasty.

Fantastic hole-in-the-wall for anyone who loves bar-b-que. My wife got the chopped brisket, I opted for the sliced. Definitely get the sliced brisket. Following a few foursquare tips, we also tried the banana pie, which did not disappoint!

Awesome food. Great service. Being out of town, I went in not knowing what to expect. They handed me a menu and I asked them what I would go back to Chicago and brag about. They gave me the beef brisket, the ribs and the catfish. Loved all three. Being a meat guy, loved the brisket and the ribs were to die for. I could have puked them and started again, a la Rome 22BC. Worth the stop. It is BYOB, so go next door to the gas station and bring it in yourself. This definitely competes with Uncle Johns(closed) in Chicago.

I am from KC and nothing beats their BBQ in my opinion. However, this place offers something up for everyone. It is BBQ with a Mexican flare. Glad I had choices since I don’t eat red meat ! Waitress recommended the Spud so I got that with chicken on the side. That had to be the biggest baked potato I have ever seen. It could have easily been shared with 2, even 3 people! Everything for your potato comes on the side which is good. The Charro beans are not your typical BBQ beans-better! You can actually taste the bean flavor. Sauce is not thick and there are hints of ham(I think) in there. BYOB people. The waitress opened the back door so my hubby could go to the little mart next door and grab a 6 pack. Service was great !

Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Go for the brisket, sausage and pork ribs. Complement them some amazing homemade fries and potato salad. But wait! Don’t leave before you try the peach cobbler and the grapefruit pie! The service is fantastic and you’ll leave wanting to come back for more!
