I just returned from this HEB and I will not go back. I recently moved here from out of state and live right down the street. I have been shopping at this store regularly since I arrived here. I love the store itself, the products, selection and prices but every time I have been there the employees have been so rude. I am not a demanding customer or a hard person to please. I have never written a negative review before this but tonight was the last straw. The cashier, Ashley was so unpleasant. I had a plastic storage container that had a coupon with it. I set the coupon on top of it which she immediately grabbed and slammed on the counter in front of me then slammed the container back down on the conveyor belt. She did not look at me, smile or say hello when she began ringing up my items. At the end of my transaction she looked the other direction when handing me my receipt. No goodbye, have a nice evening or anything of the sort. If this were an isolated incident I would not be writing this. She has rung me up several times before and its always the same attitude. I could even write it off if it were just her but it has been 99% of the employees I have encountered there. The few occasions that I have had to ask an employee where an item was located they definitely acted put out and mumbled an answer without looking at me as they were walking away. I have never been greeted or smiled at by any cashier there, ever, which is not the end of the world but if I am spending my money somewhere I at least expect friendly customer service and after two months I realize that I am not going to find that here.

HEB is definitely a store I miss when I go to college. I love their made from scratch tortillas. They make it hot and right in front of you when you go to pick it up. The store also has fresh and a great variety of plants for you to buy and put in your front or backyard. I do wish they had more variety in their bakery section. I feel like I only have have a limited amount of choices. I love the customer service in this store as employees were always willing to help me with any questions or assistance I needed.

This location is always packed and I usually shop at the Sienna Plantation location but needed some items quickly and near me. They have a wonderful seafood market along with fresh produces(just like any other HEB). You can never go wrong with HEB!

This HEB is a little older and doesn’t have as extensive a selection as the one where we used to live, but it has pretty much all we need. Came on a Saturday morning, and it was crowded, but not too bad-we could get around most aisles fine. Got everything we needed and staff were friendly. I am sure we will make this our new go to grocery store since we love HEB.

I arrived at the pharmacy at 9pm when they close. They filled my prescription even though they had to stay a few minutes late. I came there from CVS who would not fill my prescription at 8:40, before they close. HEB saved the evening and earned a new pharmacy customer! Thank you so much!!!

I’ve been to better H-E-B stores. I thought the one near my house was the worst. This was my worse shopping experience; perhaps this is my last visit here. The cashier knew nothing about the produce. Not sure if it was her first day on cash register or her last day working at this store. Just about every 4th item, she had to look in her book for the code. When it came to jicama, she looked me for answer. I had to spell it out for her. Uh huh. It’s not a turnip. To make my experience worse, the bagger didn’t care about my carefully selected nectarines as she threw them across the bagging area. My partner gave her a dirty look. Uh huh. Try that again and I’m gonna tell.

Fortunately this store usually has what I need grocery wise, I’m giving a two star rating because of constant customer service issues. I go here mostly because it’s closest to my home, but that may change after today’s exceptionally poor service. For quite a while now I have been totally unsatisfied during checkout. Most, not all, of the cashiers and baggers are more concerned with talking to each other, gossiping, yelling to the person 2 cash registers over, talking to friends visiting, texting on the phone etc than checking the customer out. I don’t think it’s appropriate to be talking over all your customers to gossip about friends etc. It seems like a huge inconvenience lately to even get anyone to acknowledge you or make eye contact when you’re checking out/paying. Today I had to stand and wait a while for my FIVE small items to be bagged because the cashier and bagger were holding my items but talking to the other people on the next 2 registers instead of bagging. Totally ignored the fact that I even existed, let alone that I was waiting for them to stop gossiping so they could put my items in the bag.

This HEB will always have a special place in my heart because it’s so close to my home. There are usually 2 simple layouts for HEB’s that I’ve seen, and I’m more accustomed to the layout found at this location, with the frozen foods located near the check-out lines. They offer samples throughout the store and often have cooking connections, similar to other HEB’s. A big plus for me(when I used to work in retail) is that their bank is open on Sundays until 3pm!

I’ve been to this HEB many times and it’s always okay. I’m rarely excited or disappointed in it.

they need to have a rule about so many cars idling outside the front doors, causes congestion and can be dangerous. I guess too many people do not have the energy to walk to the parking lot… which is not that far.

Only reason I come here is for convenience, it’s the closest heb to work and I’m a heb junkie. I’m so spoiled by the one by my house(bunker hill) that stepping into this one was a world of difference. It’s dirty and the meat selection is so skimpy. I feel as though it’s very disorganized and the employees are ridiculously lazy. Even the cooking connection area which is normally my favorite spot to visit is rather hostile. Get in, get out.

Employees are super friendly and it is always clean. Just hard to get around sometimes only thing I don’t like about HEB. Don’t go on a Sunday morning otherwise you’re good!

It’s been a while since I’ve shopped in HEB. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and quantity of foods — especially fresh fruits and vegetables. I bought something that I should not have — mix-up — and returned it today. No questions — easy to get a refund. In and out literally within a couple of minutes.

Big selection so it drew a lot of attention on an early Saturday afternoon. Delightful shopping experience because I was able to find all that I needed. The customer service was friendly and one of the reasons why I like shopping at HEB.

Far away from me, but they have everything I needed that I couldn’t find in the local HEB’s. It was worth the trip.

Good store but can become very busy. I do most of my shopping here because it is down the street from my house. The prices are good and I usually can find a coupon to use on every visit. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. I prefer to shop on weekday mornings when the store is less busy.

HEB seems to be «The Grocery Store» of Texas and there is some solid validity to this. The HEBs that I have shopped in are clean, well laid out, have most of what I am looking for and have a helpful group of employees. There are some variations in the products the stores carry and this is determined by location. As with any multiple location stores there are ones I favor over others. When it comes to the HEBs, I tend to be partial to this location. Why? For one, I find it to be less crowded than other nearby HEBs. Crowded grocery stores are high on my list of dislikes. I don’t want to play«find my way through the maze of people in the aisles» because they can’t move their carts out of the way. I don’t want to have to fight my way through ten people having a staring contest in the cereal aisle while they try to figure costs, etc. I want good variety. I want organics. I want quality. I want clean. So far this HEB has passed in all these areas. The produce section is very good and fresh. If I can’t find my organic Italian parsley or basil at Whole Foods, I know I can find it here. Same goes for my Horizon half and half. The prices are good at HEB and I feel like I get my money’s worth. I’m very picky about buying good brands but I will buy some of the HEB brand foods at times. One example is the Bakeshop Walnut Multigrain bread and other whole grain breads. Good quality and taste. The Sushi Ya sushi sold here is also very good and great in price. And how could I not LOVE a grocery that carries my beloved Tasty Kakes? They are not normally found outside of the East coast so that was a happy discovery for me! As far as the parking lot, I always manage to find good parking spots and it’s easy to enter and exit the parking lot without a lot of annoyances or other cars in my way. Since Gerland’s Grand Market closed this HEB has become my go to store for a quick grab on items. When I’m not at Whole Foods, I’m here. A few more miles in distance? Yes, but for a store that has quality and no aggravations it’s well worth it. I’m happy.

I love all HEBs. This one is a little older but the store is still quality and the staff are still friendly. went there the other day at 11 pm to get baby balloons and even though the floral department was closed another staff member took time to help me out even though he was«supposed to help» the store is clean and most importantly the prices are right! if i can’t go to the sienna HEB then this is not a far second choice

I like HEB because of the great varieties and the low prices! The HEB– branded items are, of course, cheaper, and who would not love like that?! It helps you stretch your food dollars, baby! In most items, the quality stays pretty consistent; and in some items such as the«Creamy Creation Premium Ice Cream» and«Sugar Cane Sweetened Tea,» the quality of the product even exceeds that of the«name» brand! I love love love the ice cream, and I seriously think it tastes even better than Dreyer’s and Breyer’s(nothing beats BlueBell though: P) My favorite flavors include Banana Nuts, White Chocolate w/Raspberry Truffles, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Homemade Vanilla, which is my most favorite among all 30+ flavors! Please try the homemade vanilla, and i’m sure you will fall in love with it! My boyfriend likes the Sugar Cane Sweetened Tea a lot, and usually picks up a few jugs every time he stops by HEB.
