I would give zero stars if it was an option. We used Johnson Moving and Storage and had the absolute worst experience we have ever had with a moving company. Although their packers were fast, they mixed fragile items in with heavy items and mismarked cartons. What was worse was their treatment of our furniture while in storage. Besides the fact that they had jammed our items into wooden lockers (which they had trouble opening), they broke and damaged several pieces, some of which were treasured family items. The delivery people were clumsy, inexperienced and rude. They even overcharged us by a few hundred dollars, and we had to wait a long time for the money to be refunded. It was also difficult trying to resolve these issues with the company, which was disorganized and not very helpful. This wasn’t even a long distance move, it was within a fifty mile area with storage for only a few months. We regret ever using this company and cannot recommend them to anyone!
