Came here last night for dinner. Cute, quaint little historic house with outdoor patio. Sat outside and ordered two appetizers: tomato and mozzarella and the shrimp and crab cocktail. Have to say it exceeded expectations. Delicious, fresh, and something different. The cocktails were also on point: there inclusion of freshly muddled fruit and herbs is apparent. Steak for the entrée: delicious, tender, and not chewy. Dessert was the apple crisp, had to order it after I found out that the owner’s wife makes it fresh. Service was fantastic! Torrie did an excellent job. Will be back on my next trip.

So bummed out about our service. Although the staff was extremely courteous the service was extremely slow. It didn’t help that two of the steaks we ordered had to be remade because they were over cooked. And those two poor folks didn’t receive the remade steaks until after the entire party was already finished. And they didn’t offer to rectify the situation. Very disappointing. Great ambiance-but ridiculously slow kitchen.

An amazing place. Beautiful setting with amazing services and great steaks. Everyone goes out of there way to take care of you. I have eaten at severely high end steak houses across the county but nothing compares to the quality and taste of their steaks. The prices are not bad for this level of quality. A hidden gem and must for a steak lover. I hope to be back again, I would go out of my way to have dinner here again.

Wow! My birthday here with hubby. Great service. From the moment we made reservations until we paid the check, we were treAted as royalty. The food was excellent. I had a delicious steak and hubby had the pork. Both excellent. The crème brûlée was excellent. We had drinks upstairs in a very intimate lounge. Then had another drink after dinner. The wine list while small was excellent. Had a Cabernet from California that was delicious. TreAt yourself to s nice civilized dinner here. You will not regret it.

I had an amazing evening at Jeffrey’s Steakhouse, dining in their cosy terrace garden. The 6oz filet Wagyu beef tasted wonderfull & I paired it with their rosemary potato wedges and a Dead Horse Amber Ale from the local brewery. All very flavorful and classy. I would certainly recommend this place to people looking for a quality dinner place in a cosy and peaceful setting. Ps: small footnote… their Crème Brulée I had for dessert was gorgeous!

I’ve eaten here many times and have recommend it often.(Including earlier in the day). This time we were stunned to have two VERY over cooked steaks(two of their $ 41 wagu ribeye). I’m always shocked when a steak house over cooks steak, it should be perfect every time otherwise, it’s not really a specialty is it? The server was too busy to check back so I ended up flagging down someone else to help, by then I decide to live with it because I didn’t want to add to our food waste problems. They discounted our over $ 200 bill by a whopping $ 12. perhaps the fairer thing would have been to comp one steak since we didn’t make them re-cook $ 80 of meat. Not the best way to earn back my formerly loyal business.

Everything we ordered here, our steaks, the shrimp and crab appetizer and the crème brûlée for dessert were delicious. The service was amazing, and the hostess was so so nice. It is a little on the expensive side, so it’ll be the restaurant we save for special occasions when we’re in Moab, but it is so worth it.

My husband and I came here with some friends after a long hiking day and were blown away. We were so surprised that there was this AMAZING steakhouse in a tiny town like Moab. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was cook perfectly. It was so tender! We can’t wait to dine at this lovely place again in a few weeks when we are down in Southern Utah. For sure the best steakhouse in Utah.

This place is totally worth the price! The food was absolutely amazing! We started in the bar upstairs before our reservation time and it is so neat. The steaks were amazing and the sides were so yummy(FYI.they are family size). The creamed spinach was sooo good that I wish I had the recipe! The staff was so pleasant and helpful with the entrée descriptions. We will be back on our next visit!

I am sad to say that we had a terrible dinner last night at Jeffreys. My husband and I have a home here in Moab and this will be our third time dining there. The service was fantastic but four out of six of us had the 8oz ribeye special and all agreed that we have had better food at the airport. This was a big disappointment for us as we have recommended Jeffreys to many of our friends who come to Moab and we will not be doing that again after last night. The atmosphere is a bit stuffy as well and could use an infusion of fun for the under 60 set.

Had he Beef Wellington. First time eating at Jeffrey’s. Ordered medium rare and it was cooked correctly. Always a good start with red meat. The pasty dough was crisp and flaky and tasty. The thing that put this dish over the top for me was the mushrooms and the gravy the mushrooms were smothered in. Just delish. The side of garlic mashed was good, but I can’t say I was blown away or anything from them. Overall a very nice entrée and very tasty and nothing negative about this place. Definitely a $$$ location with entrees ranging from $ 25 – 40, most around $ 25 – 30. Very nice place for a elegant date in Moab!

After a few days of mediocre truck stop /greasy spoon /small town café type restaurants I was really excited to have NYE dinner at a nice steakhouse. The restaurant has a definite fine dining vibe. Our waiter, Chester, was very attentive and explained our options very well. He recommended a great bottle of Pinot(Meiomi) which went quite well with the steak. Two people in our group got the special which was a 6oz steak with a bit of Crab & Shrimp — so essentially a surf’n’turf, which was extremely good. The seafood had a béarnaise sauce that was killer. A few of us got the«blu cheese cap» on the steak which I recommend. They have many other options and apps that I wish we could have tried, but didn’t have the appetite for. I got the beet salad to start, that was a great choice. It came with a nice sticky-sweet dressing on top of greens. For dessert I asked for a custom coffee drink which has four different types of liquor, but«Utah Law» got the best of me there as their liquor is metered — Chester did a great job of improvising and getting me a tasty drink without having to sell me four shots of liquor.

So close to being a 5 star. Overall, Excellent food. Steaks and fries cooked perfectly. I would argue this is THEBEST food in Moab. It’s a cozy place with some nice outdoor seating. Didn’t’ get to experience the upstairs bar. So a few things. We were a bit early, but they were open as people were seated in the outdoor seating. We waited at the hostess station for over 10 minutes while the indoor seating area remained empty. I even yelled a couple of «hellos» out into the air. People heard me, because the conversation we could clearly hear going on, right behind the wall(server’s staging area) stopped and then started up again. Oh, and we were in full view of the camera hidden in the air duct. So, someone, knew we were there. We waited so long that we almost walked out. For the amount of money we spent on this meal, I don’t accept being ignored. Finally someone came down from upstairs and looked very surprised that we were standing around. Despite this dubious start, things soon got better. Our server was very friendly and apologized for the wait. Turns out the gentleman waiting with us for someone to acknowledge our presence was a new server and he was getting trained. Our drinks were served promptly. The serving staff tends to leave you alone to your meal, which is nice. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The Chef’s special was incredible. It was distracting to hear a new server being trained, but I guess you have to do what you have to do. We did hear a «this pepper is expensive, so don’t waste it and only spoon out x amount into the dishes». I mean, the pepper WAS really good, but it was just odd to hear. We asked our server about how special the pepper was. She said, «i don’t know. I just know it’s expensive. We import it from somewhere. We like to use the best ingredients,» Kudos to her on a great recovery. Overall, I would have rated this place a 5IF we had been acknowledged when we arrived and not made to wait for so long. Definitely worth going.

I wish folks would distinguish between Wagyu and American Wagyu(Angus cross breed). I feel pretty safe in saying that Jeffrey’s served me the latter. They told me that medium rare is served at 120 but I would guess my steak came pretty close to medium at 130+(maybe they let it sit while my dining companion’s dish was being finished). Not horrible for Moab, but definitely not a world class steakhouse and definitely didn’t do justice to any form of Wagyu.

Not sure about this place… Friendly staff. Feels like you are visiting family as it is in a house converted to restaurant Took forever to get our salad and bread. Bread was good salad dressing was good, but salad looked like something I would make at home. Then endless wait for our entrées… Let’s just say good was not worth the wait or the price. My husbands steak was overlooked. My fish was just ok. They gave us 3 pounds of potatoes. Something you’d get in a cheap diner. Would only come back for wine and bread

Great service. Beautiful and calm atmosphere. Lackluster food. I am a lover of steakhouses. Going out for a steak dinner is a bit of a family tradition in my clan so I’ve been to a lot of them and look forward to a good meal. Unfortunately, the food at Jeffrey’s left a lot to be desired. The food just didn’t match up with the price point. For the prices they charge here I expect great food. And really our appetizer, steaks and sides were nothing special. On the bright side, the atmosphere and service is really wonderful. I probably won’t be back unless they reduce their prices to match the food quality or improve the steaks.

This review is based on customer servicing and food quality. Had reservations here on our 1 year wedding anniversary, 7.11.15. I told the host when I called in that it was our anniversary. You would think she’d respond with«Happy Anniversary!» She just said«OK how many in your party». So that was my first impression. Moving forward we got there, the place is a small old house with a really beautiful patio area. It was confusing trying to walk in the front door as it looks like it is just there for show and there’s nothing that says entrance. We sat down and were greeted by our waitor, Conan. He gave us the run down of the special and a drink/dinner menu. We ordered drinks and it took about 10 mins to get them. Conan was very busy as he was servicing ALL tables(maybe 12 tables total). I asked Conan several questions off the menu like how are the rosemary potatoes and what the difference was between the center cut filet and the regular filet… He didn’t know the answers(maybe he is new) he said the items were newly added and they(the restaurant) hadn’t talked about that yet! We ordered the 6oz center cut filet anyways. The food was tasty, both of our steaks were cooked to perfection. We got the mashed potatoes because they were out of loaded baked potato(we found this out 10 mins after we ordered them), they were decent. FYI all sides come a la carte. During the dinner service we ran out of our drinks and our waitor didn’t come by for about 15 mins… The lack of customer service in this place is truly disappointing for being a steak restaurant. My husband said, our waitor is making this place seem like a dive bar and I totally agree with that. The prices are not worth it due to the poor customer service. In the end no one said Happy Anniversary and the staff needs to learn customer service.

Vor allem mal was anderes hier in Moab!

We had a petit filet and a ribeye steak with a baked potato and the small fries and both got espargles as vegtables. The food was absolutly delicious. For desert we had the choclate wedge… Really melting in the mouth. We felt very comfortable, the service was great and very friendly. We sat outside in the garden which looked really pretty. I recommend this steakhouse 100%.
