I stayed here while training people at the new Mobile location of my company. The hotel was fantastic! From the front desk, the snack room, the provided internet room, and to the actual room itself, the hotel blew me away. The bed was extremely comfortable and the TV was huge! Everything about this room was perfect and provided the best possible stay I could have had in Mobile.

The room wasn’t awful but… The room had several pieces of paint and drywall scraped off in one corner. The rooms AC does a very poor job of conditioning the room. You’ll either be hot and sticky or cold if you sleep by the ac while its on this really both my wife’s and my sleep. There is no air circulation in the bathroom so my wife couldn’t be in there after we all took a shower (to straighten and blow dry her hair).
On the bright side people were pleasant as was the breakfast. If you’re hot natured you may look elsewhere but if not bothered by it this would be a good hotel.

Free breakfast, coffee in the lobby, and wifi. What more could you ask for.

Clean and spacious rooms. Simple décor. Hot breakfast of baked goods, cereal, sausage and eggs, juice, and coffee was fairly good. Only a few minutes drive down the street to Downtown and major attractions. Not in a very foot traffic friendly area. Aside from that, a very nice hotel for the price.

We booked in advance after deciding to rest in Mobile, Alabama during our trip to Destin. We avoided the pool after seeing it was not clean, lounging chairs were suppose to be beige but were black. There was obvious remodeling going on but you could also tell contractors were not being held accountable for cleaning their workspace. Room was clean but had a bad odor to it. Wish we would have been warned prior to checking in!

First time stay at a Windgate By Wyndhan Hotel and I must say I’m impressed.
My spotlessly clean suite room was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. The furniture was a bit dated but clean and I enjoyed the work area and overstuffed chair/​ottoman while watching the dated 27″ hard tube TV.
The staff member at check in was professional and friendly. Their lobby was bright and well furnished with a huge breakfast area with access to a well equipped outdoor pool area and sitting area with lounge chairs.
Their morning breakfast was typical of most hotels but quit good and their coffee was very tasty.
The hotel is located just off I-​65 and has numerous eateries etc close by.
I would look forward to another stay in the future.

As with all Wingates, this one is very nice. The staff is very friendly and there are lots of amenities. You get free breakfast as well as free WIFI. The area is okay with a few places to eat nearby, but don’t expect much entertainment if you don’t have a car. Also, they provide a crew room for airline employees. I would definitely stay here again.
