Tried the cinnamon spice packaged almonds from a local gourmet grocer. Perfect amount of sweet with that pop of a crunch you look for in a good toasty almond. Thumbs up for first try.

I sampled some really delicious products at the Modesto Farmer’s Market and gladly forked over the cash for a small overpriced bag of buttery almonds. I meant to take them as a gift for some out of town friends as if to say, «Here’s some of the great things Modesto has to offer.» Imagine my disappointment a few days later when my friend shared the almonds with me and they just tasted old, stale and flat. I apologized profusely for the mismatch between my description and the almonds in our hands. I checked the«sell by» sticker, and it is still a month away. Just think how bad they’ll taste then! I don’t know if their prices are preventing them from selling the almonds quickly enough for the product to match their samples or if I just got a bad batch, but I don’t think I’ll ever buy from this company again – they’ve embarrassed me enough for one lifetime.

I do loves me a good Nut Butter and finding Almondipity at a local Farm store had me really excited, even though I now make my own it’s always nice to support the local business. The regular Butter is all natural and made from just Almonds, NOFILLERS! Or you can get the ”with Honey” which just that. just added Honey powder from pure raw Honey to give it a little bit of sweetness. It’s this one that had me fall in love and purchase a jar. Delicious! And quilt free. They can be found in a few store’s in and around Modesto and the San Joaquin County or you can order from the website. Almond & Honey: 8oz — $ 5 16oz — $ 8:50 Almond: 8oz — $ 4:50 16oz — $ 8.00 Aside from the Butter you can also get flavored Marcona Almonds and Gift Boxes.
