Luigi’s Pizza To Go Kitchen

My family used to get pizza here a lot when I was little & I had completely forgot about this little place until I saw their ads on Facebook. The photos looked really good so my husband and I called to place the order. The girl who answered the phone was very rude!!! She was very snappy when we were asking questions about the menu. Anywho, we placed the order & she said it would be a 45 min wait. Holy smokes that’s a long time… But we figured it has to cook in the brick oven, maybe it takes longer??? So we ordered a large pizza, the cheese balls & wings. It came out to $ 40. We went to pick up our pizza and it still wasn’t ready, it had been an hour. My husband said the cashier was extremely rude to him. Our food was finally ready but when we got it home our pizza was so soggy. The box was even soggy. The napkins smelled so bad like it was all soaking in vinegar??? It was so weird and really gross to be honest. The pizza didn’t taste terrible, but it wasn’t that good. The wings were… Ok. Basic, same as you can get anywhere. The cheese balls were very good. If we ever go back it will be just to buy those but I doubt we will return.

Love it I’ll def come here for pizza, a lil far from me but worth it. Great customer service I called in a pizza in a Tues may have been slow but they were fast. Dunno about weekends but def call ur order in.

Best Pizza around. If you’re tired of eating cadrboard with cheese and sauce on it you have to try this pizza.

Meat Lovers Pizza was good but not outstanding. $ 26 of extra large is pricey for just good. I picked up the pizza and the nice lady was friendly. I phoned in the order and I ordered the double extra large for $ 36.00 she got it wrong. I was ok with it. I will go back and give them another chance.

Service was great.
But, Pizza was not good. Neither were the hot wings.
The wings were undercooked and hot sauce was not hot sauce. The ranch dressing was watered down. Pizza was not good at all it had a funky taste to it.

OMG… AMAZING. I am NOT a pizza person. We had the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza… perfect combination of cheese and sauce, chicken in every bite. We also ordered the cheese stuffed garlic bread balls… pretty sure that was the name… JUST… WOW. Then we were thanked on the way out and asked how our food was, the guys was the owner. Got to chat a bit. Really nice guy. I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING HERE!!!

This place is so good. The pizza is unbelievable! I love the Italian Spicy with pepperoni Canadian bacon pineapple and jalapeño. The crust is delicious, the cheese is melty and fresh. So good. My only complaint is that they are a take home pizza joint and the interior is extremely limited.

Stopped by here on the way back from Yosemite. Good Pizza and Great Service!
The owner was very courteous. Our group tried the Veggie and the Combination pizza.
They put an immense amount of cheese, so all of us were stuffed by the end of the meal.

I’m only giving this place two stars because this USE to be my favorite childhood pizza spot. I recently came back to remember the good olé days but I ended up throwing it in the trash! Location has never been the greatest… I grew up in airport so I was aware of the surroundings and if your looking for a non-​sketchy area… this isn’t the place lol (not the owners fault) but they seriously have changed owners because I thought I was eating doughy card board… the pizza use to be full of flavor and the crust was to die for! will come back one more time to make sure it possibly was just the people or a bad day but I really hope it gets better. I use to LOVE this place!

I ordered a 20 inch half vege pizza with jalapenos and a half meat lover pizza with 12 cheese balls and 12 chicken wings. All for $ 60. The wait was 50 minutes! The cheese balls were plain and doughy and my pizza didn’t have jalapenos. For the price, I am very dissatisfied with my visit today.

Yum! One of the best pizza parlor in Modesto. One of the only places that uses a brick oven. Can’t get any letter than that!

Every time I order pizza from here, I’m never unsatisfied, in fact I’m left wanting more. our family absolutely love love loves the quality, freshness, and my personal favorite is the garlic bread cheese balls are so amazing. I’m addicted to those. Yummo!!!

So my husband has wanted to try Luigi’s for a while, so last night that’s what we had. I think we have found our new favorite pizza place! It was a real treat, thick dough and fresh ingredients. We had all meat, but I want to try more varieties. A little on the pricey side, but as they say you get what you pay for. Good value for the money.

Giving this place 3 stars for now and here’s why:
Service:
everyone was friendly so they are doing good in that department.
Eating area:
small. This is more of a to go pizza joint.
What I ordered:
pizza balls. I thought the pizza ball was going to be bigger then they were considering the cost of the item. 6 small garlic mozzarella pizza balls for $ 6.45. I know it’s a restaurant but I think $ 3.50/$ 4.00 would be a good price point. The pizza balls were tasty and fresh but for the price they should throw in some sauce to add some flavor and make me feel like I’m getting a better deal.

Honestly it was worth the 40min drive to Modesto! the pizza was amazing and the garlic cheese balls were on point, all the staff was very friendly. And for the record the pizza doesn’t taste like cardboard. One of the best pizza places in the central valley!

Small place but feels clean. More like a place for Togo orders. No restroom. Seats 12. Ordered hot wings and it was hella bomb! Dude working was pretty helpful. Best pizza ever in good ol’Modesto!

Friendly customer service. Pizza was very flavorful. The cheesy bread balls were AmazeBalls!

I came here with high hopes of great pizza, but I was sadly disappointed :(
I ordered a half pepperoni and cheese, which was eeh… I also ordered a supreme (combo) which sucked! It was sooooooooooo soggy, I thought by asking for it well done it would have avoided this catastrophe, but I was so wrong! It was also pretty bland.
I don’t think I would ever come back, Kebab next door is way better, too bad they are moving :(

I used to love this place, great pizza, but this visit was not impressed at all. pizza was double the price as it was, well the combination is for a small. The olives were a bit over kill and cold, making the other toppings cold like it was added last sec on a already cooked pizza…

I do have to admit they have cleaned the place up from what it was in the past…
