Perko’s Cafe

Drive by this restaurant almost daily. Decided to stop by for breakfast and am glad I did. Much better than the national chains when comparing food quality, service and ambiance.
It had a charm to it as the waitresses seemed to know all of the customers that were coming in.

I have already wrote a review about this business but had to write another one ! Excellent customer service especially Teresa Tristina and Thomas. Excellent food the steak was cooked perfect the turkey dinner is always amazing the veggies are cooked just right every time. Love that it isn’t a loud bar type at atmosphere people can actually talk to each other. A plus !!!

Love the location and the atmosphere is calm. Theresa is a great waitress and my family would recommend her to anyone who stops by!

Theres really sonething about this place. I had every employee today check in and say hi to me today, even though it was crazy busy. The manager, Vicki, is really running a tight ship. My waitress was Melissa and you could tell she really knows the customers around here, she knows everyone on a personal level. My food was piping hot and really delicious and my coffee never went dry! What a good meal!

Visiting from Florida, loved this place! went for breakfast and then once for dinner before returning home. Both experiences were fantastic. Great food, service, prices. The complete package!

Awesome. service and great food for the price. The wait staff were all over making sure your coffee or drinks were sufficient. Making sure your order was right. I came for breakfast saw alot of families and they were well served by the wait staff. The best service i. have had for this type of diner restaurant. It had been about 2 years since i have been here. Decided to try it once more and it was much better. Glad I did. The one in Salida I had been to recently but for lunch and it was good as well. But the Oakdale road location really made a great. impression on me. I think i found my regular breakfast stop.

We stopped for dinner. Gerry had the Alaskan cod and loved it. My roast beef was very good. Fries nice and crispy.

! This is my new spot, my go to for a great breakfast. This is the second time I’ve been here. The first time was so good I wished I wrote a review. And this time it was even better then I remember. So definitely need to write a review. So I remember last time I ordered the mother load added jalapeños & linguica with biscuits and gravy. I loved it but ended up taking half home. So this time ordered it again and split it with my man. It was out of this world good. Had country potatoes with it. Ordered fresh fruit my daughter’s had egg kids meal with bacon and sourdough toast. The bacon was perfect not fatty at all and crisp not burnt. She loved her egg. Biscuits and gravy we all loved, one of the best we have ever had. Omelet was to die for. Absolutely loved it. Full of meat n pure yumminess ! Coffee was great I love that they give you to options. Regular & dark roast. Staff was friendly. I look forward to eating there again.

This is our go to for breakfast when the hubby and I get a chance, once a week if we can! We absolutely love it. It’s a home cooked meal, without the hassle of cooking and cleaning!!! ⁹⁄₁₀ times I go for steak eggs and cakes, it’s out of this world :) :) :) There’s a cook named David or Dave, but he always makes sure the food is good (we always sit at the counter) and the manager is the sweetest lady around! The servers are lovely and always smiling and making conversation when they’re not running around! Stephanie is a sweetheart, always taking care of us :) The best part is how prompt they are. Our food was ordered and served within 10 minutes!!! We love our Perkos :)

My parents come here all the time. They have brought my several times for their early bird breakfast menu and I have never been disappointed. The servers always remember me, and often ask my parents about me when I don’t go. I love their country potatoes and omelets. My husband loves it here too.

Been coming for years. Service is great food is great. What more do you want. Clean place to eat. Very fast service.

Had breakfast there Thursday morning with two friends.
I had the Denver omelet, which wasn’t bad: I’m sure it was good nutrition but it was nothing spectacular.
The service was great; the coffee — ehhhhh.

Good home cooked meals. They serve a lot of food and the servers were very friendly. My only complaint would be the food is served TOO hot. How can you bring a plate of macaroni and cheese to an excited three year old and tell her you can’t eat or touch it because it will burn her? Overall, great food and a good family environment.

I found a meal-​worm, alive, in my food. I wasn’t offered a discount or anything. The waitress just grabbed it with a tissue and said sorry. I got up without eating anymore paid and left. I really shouldn’t have paid for that item, I was seriously disgusted! I haven’t had the stomach to go back since which earns me because I have been going there since I was young but the new waitresses seem clueless.

I’ve been here for breakfast quite a few times and have had excellent service without fail. My meals have always been prepared exactly as requested and are hot when they get to the table. I’ve even had a to-​go order once when I was in a hurry and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast they got me out the door and on the road. I will most certainly be back with friends and family.

The staff at the Perko’s Café on the corner of Oakdale Road and Sylvan are just the best in the west. Their attention to detail and winning ways more than compensates for food that is fine but not over-​the-​top spectacular.
A person dining at Perko’s will get good quality American food. It is well cooked, it is well presented and the price is reasonable. Perko’s is a TRUE American Café!

My family and I went here on a Sunday morning for brunch. We were pleasantly surprised with an inviting atmosphere and staff.
It was a very homey and country style setting. The place was clean and they were extremely efficient with only having to wait a few minutes for a booth while they were very busy.
It was a quick turnaround for our breakfast and the eggs were all cooked to our specified order… yes they did great with my over medium eggs.
We had leftovers because they have large portions. I am tempted to try them out for lunch. I look forward to another brunch here.

I’m leaving one star for the omelette I had and that’s about it. We’ve been here plenty of times but this was the first time we were seated right in front of the kitchen. As we were waiting for our food we started watching this one waitress working behind the counter… her name was Stacy. She was handling toast, taking orders, taking payments and serving… but not once did she wash her hands. I don’t understand why she is handling toast when there is no wash station? It made me sick to my stomach.
