Was there a while ago and been meaning to sign on to Unilocal.breakfast was good not great but decent prices. A little nicer than other IHOPs I have been to.

I have to start with a major disclaimer — I have never really been a fan of any IHOP, no matter where it was despite this, I have ventured to many a IHOP, and this may be one of the most disappointing. The service is slow, and even when the place is more than half empty — every time I have been here, you still have an inexplicably long wait to be seated. Not sure why this is the case, but that is something that should be rectified with haste. Once you get seated, it takes entirely too long for someone to come over and take your order. The food is what you would expect, nothing special, and all IHOP locations look the same, this location just seems larger than any other I have been to. The wait for service and the feeling that understaffing and mediocre service are essentially a guarantee make this place a dreaded settlement you make when someone in the group insists on having a smoky face on their damn pancakes.

I really enjoy iHop, but the service at this location is really slow. It seems no matter what time of day I go, it takes a really long time for our meals to arrive(I always joke that there is only one chef in the kitchen). However, I have noticed that the staff has been the same for years; it must be a really great working environment(I think that says something about the management team).

First time at IHOP. Pancakes and crêpe were more than satisfying. We liked the bottomless coffee. While the service was less than friendly, she was prompt and brought our coffee and food quickly.

The food is better than the service. Our waiter took his sweet time to get us anything, even drinks. Plus, he was not very friendly and left a few items out of our order. The manager and another waitress served us more than he did. The bacon made us taste our sodium levels rising, and the toast was barely buttered, even after they forgot to, give it to us. The spinach in my pasta was insanely undercooked, and my chicken was rubbery. And to finish off, gave us the check before asking if we wanted dessert. Also, too much cleaning in front of the customers. I wouldn’t come back if my life depended on it.

Not sure why there are so many poor reviews. It’s an IHOP. Not the 4 seasons. Let me tell you, the service is much better than the diner down the road. And the food it great and it’s way cheaper. How can anyone give a bad review is beyond me. It’s awesome here at IHOP. I’ve been here many times and it’s clean and friendly. Go. Enjoy. Yum!

Pretty good. Always like the service, staff is friendly and on point. Food is descent but expensive for what it is. My kids like eating there.

Food is what you’d expect at your average IHOP. Some waitresses are pleasant, others not so much. That being said, service is extremely slow on a consistent basis — from waiting to be seated, food coming out cold, and even handling my check. Basically, don’t come here if you have better options!

Growing up in the Bronx, I guess I was spoiled by the IHOP on Boston Post Road(across from the shopping center). Was a bit disappointed with breakfast here. The service was below par and the food was marginal. I ordered an egg, waffle, and pancake combo and the pancakes were a bit dry and lacked taste. The waffle was also a bit on the cold side. My wife and I also found it to be on the expensive side. With all the established diners in the area, I’m not in a great hurry to return.

We were seated very quickly and the restaurant was clean. Almost as soon as we were seated, our waiter, Jesse came over and took our drink orders. Alas, Jesse thought my girlfriend also ordered coffee, but she had ordered a Diet Coke. He quickly brought her the correct drink and apologized profusely for the mistake. It took a pretty long time to get our food, but the food was really good. I enjoyed my pancakes, eggs, giant sausages and hash browns. My girlfriend enjoyed her steak and eggs. Jesse came over several times to ask if everything was ok, and also remembered to bring me sugar-free syrup. Overall, I have to say that we had a really good dining experience. If the kitchen could speed up a little, I would give this place five stars.(The restaurant was not overly crowded when we went.) It’s pretty much your standard IHOP experience.

Showed up with a party of 20, we were all seated in 20 minutes. Drinks came out quickly, food took a really reasonable amount of time considering the amount of orders and was actually quite acceptable. Waitress was nice and didn’t screw any orders up. 10/10, would contribute to future diabetes here again.

The manager here is working with what she has. It’s a corporate owned fast food joint. Yes the waitstaff should be more attentive to the crap they put in front of people. I have had several room temperature meals here and have not eaten here since the new female manager started. I say stick to pancakes and waffles, maybe sausage. The kitchen staff here sucks. The bacon is horrid and the hash browns make you want to walk out. Serious lack in the kitchen of how breakfast should not taste like crap. Perhaps I Hop standards need to change, your bacon is thin over cooked and flavorless. Your hash browns need a little oil on the grill not non stick spray, and your hollandaise I will never order again. I hop get back to basics and stop turning breakfast into dessert.

If you want to wait for your food for an hour or so, deal with crappy service and basic food this is your place.

Very wrong… while waiting for meal and eating had serious health concerns. This place has declined dramatically from its opening. My family used to enjoy coming here for reasonably priced tasty food. However, very noticeably, over the past few months the general atmosphere has greatly declined. Where is the customer service? There seems to be an absence of management. Is there anyone overseeing things? On our most recent(an probably last) visit when we entered there was a tray of dirty dishes sitting on the hostess’ greeting counter. But no hostess/manager to be seen. We waited for a few minutes(why???) before some one came to seat us. We should have taken the clues and left. The wait to be waited on was far to long, as was the wait for the food to arrive. This place needs to bring back a proactive and active manager to clean things up.

Went for dinner with the wife and daughter. After reading another Unilocaler’s review about another restaurant(am I crazy or what?), I order Chicken and Waffles. The other 2 order breakfast type items for dinner. The chicken was crunchy and moist and waffles were fine. Wife and daughter seemed to enjoy their eggs and stuff. The place was clean, the waitress friendly and the 3 of us had dinner for $ 30 including tax(but not the tip). How can you not give 3 stars.

I was worried about reading mixed reviews with this place but for the most part reviews are spot on. I ordered a stack of pancakes that split apart as another reviewer mentioned which I thought was surely a one-time occurrence but it happened to me. What are they doing to their pancakes, I have no clue! Wait time is still really long considering this place has been open almost a year now so go early if you go. For the most part the food was average at best(typical IHOP).

Ordered a 2+2+2. the scrambled eggs and bacon were AOK. But, and this is a biggie for a a pancake house — the pancakes actually peeled in half(see photo) and were doughy and chewy. The manager did step up and take off 20%. Would have been two stars for food, but I threw in an extra star for customer care. There are a number of other choices in the area, but I will give this spot another try before throwing in the towel.

IHOP was hopping Saturday morning, our first visit… after allowing time for this new restaurant to work out the kinks. I enjoyed a cholesterol-busting chicken-fried steak with 2 eggs and 2 pancakes(pic uploaded), and my wife enjoyed her egg beaters vegetable omelet. With a thermos of coffee for 1, $ 29 including tax and tip. For seating, choose either booths or table and chairs. Manager stopped by to check on our satisfaction. Seemed well run on a busy Saturday. Small Gripe: Why no real maple syrup offered, say for $ 1 more? Or a bolder coffee alternative? Tip: on our Saturday, there was no wait at 8:30 but IHOP was full at 9 am.
