Otterbein Livestyle Choices, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation

This is a skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation center. My family member was admitted in the evening. She was welcomed very politely and a report was given from hospital so that they knew what was going on. The facility is based on cottages, homey atmosphere. There can be up to 10 pts. in each house. When u walk in the door, it is the community room, which has a large table where patients and staff can eat their meals. The meals are cooked in the kitchen area by the staff or family can also come in and cook for everyone. What a wonderful atmosphere for a recovering patient. The areas are very clean, staff is very friendly. The pt. rooms are a little on the small side, however the rest of the areas make up for it. This is the nicest atmosphere I have ever experienced for an elderly person with medical needs. Awesome!
