Yuck perhaps describes it well. Ordered breakfast and it was lame, burnt bacon, cold pancakes, and extremely runny eggs. Ketchup bottle needed to be pried open with a knife due to the dried, crusted spill over. Same experience for the others in our party. I was going to try is again last week and my eleven year old son stated he would rather go to White Castle(and he hates White Castle)…

The service was a bit slow for 1145 am. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the Osgood blt. The fried egg was good, but the bacon was limp, tomato was mealy and there was only one piece of lettuce. As mentioned in another review, bread isn’t toasted, it’s grilled so it is very greasy. We also had the nachos appetizer which was ok. The chips were stale and there was about twice as much meat as there was lettuce and tomato so it was very one note. The fries were the saving grace of the meal, but they are not enough to get me back in the door.

Had an amazing club sandwich. The bread was grilled rather than toasted. Also, the bean soup was excellent. Service and ambiance are also very good. On Thursday they have the original Monroe Diner chicken dinner. I will definitely be back.

Went for dinner and I ordered the Chicken and Dumplings. It was just luke warm, and tasted just ok. The service was GREAT, and the wait for the food to be served was minimal. It was not a very impressive first time there food wise. I would give it another chance… would be curious to see the breakfast buffet on Sunday.

This place has the ambiance of a cafeteria. Cocktails are on the weak side. Turkey Reuben on rye was decent, French dip was all bun and little meat. This place has potential … just needs a bit of work.

Been three times hoping they would find their way back however they have not. Service is spotty and the food is getting worse. Not worth a try at this point.

My husband and I both got the Reuben, one on rye and the other on a pretzel bun. Definitely get it on rye. The portions are completely different. We got a bigger sandwich with the rye. Food was good. The service was great. Jessica was attentive.

I continue to come here and enjoy my experience. The menu is expansive enough to offer choices and the kitchen delivers quality. I like the atmosphere that Marwin’s offers. It feels hospitable unlike the major chains that have to fake this kind of friendliness.

First time, everything was delicious !! I had a BLT w/egg & waffle fries. Buddie had Crispy chicken club & waffle fries. Both had the Pot pie soup & got pretzel bites for app. Best lunch I have had in while! Try it out you will enjoy. Friendly staff & atmosphere.

Tried out the recently opened Marwin’s not too long ago, and it wasn’t bad, but it shows a few signs of being a new restaurant. The place seems brighter than the previous restaurant that was at the same location, and that made it feel a bit more inviting. It has a good atmosphere and isn’t so loud that you can’t hear your friends at the table. More than enough televisions are hung from the walls so you can watch your game. However, be prepared to ask for your game to be turned on, because I don’t think they keep a schedule on that like some places do. The food wasn’t bad, although I had to go with an alternative choice since the broaster wasn’t working. I selected the chicken tenders, coleslaw and sweet potatoes. The tenders tasted good, but were deep fried in what I imagine had to been some older oil because they were very dark looking. The sweet potatoes were good, and come in a small bowl with a buttery-cinnamon topping already applied. The coleslaw wasn’t very exciting, but coleslaw rarely is. The beer selection is probably fine if you’re just looking for beer, but if you want a nicer craft beer, this probably isn’t the place for you. The draft selection was small and the bottle selection was fairly common. The bar looked well-stocked, though, so a mixed drink is probably a good choice here. Service wasn’t bad. We ordered our food and it was brought out in a reasonable time. Had what seemed to be random staff stopping by and asking if everything was OK quite a few times. As with the previous restaurant at this location, the parking lot is a bit small and congested. All in all an OK place that I’ll visit again.
