Unit was put and invoiced and paid for in full 3⁄2015. By January we had developed a very large water leak on our living room ceiling. My wife called the Homeowners Association thinking it was the roof. However, it was the AC, as it was installed improperly. It was not welded all the way together and there is no drip pan underneath. Besides needing that fixed our insulation needs to be ripped out and replaced. Our living room ceiling needs to be redone(sheetrock, paint, popcorn ceiling to match). We called Plugged In and got a recording saying that they were not accepting any new wrk orders at that time and do to unforeseen circumstances, they were billing for work already in progress. A company came out to do a Spring check up. They basically told us that everything was not up to code. I called 3 other companies. All 3 came in to speak to us and agreed. Not one of them would touch the existing work to repair it because of how shoddy it is. A few of the things we learned: Ductwork is old and is normally used in crawl spaces. Welding is not even sealed. There is a hole(gap) visible! The unit put upstairs was not even a current model and was a mobile home unit. Not meant for a house.(It is also not the same brand as the condenser outside, which I am told are supposed to match now). The upstairs was left a complete and total mess with stuff and garbage everywhere. The outside unit was replaced with a 13 Seer unit, and the code is 14. There are exposed wires hanging down the side of the house that were not sleeved. There is a metal coil wire also that is not per code. The unit is sitting on a concrete block that rocks, grating the cement, with no pad underneath as well. My home would not pass any electrical or ac/heating inspections. The AC is getting about a 8 degree drop versus a normal 20 degree drop. One of the companies checked an NO permit was pulled either. We have lost $ 3,067.81 to plugged in, still need to have to ceiling fix(cost unknown) and are now getting costs to put in new system plus fix everything he screwed up or did sloppily(that part alone adds an additional $ 1,000 to the estimates which are already easily $ 6500 or more

BEWAREOFTHISCOMPANY!!! They take your money and they DONOT stand behind their product. They charged 5,000 for an install of an HVAC system, the system NEVER worked, they refused to come back out and fix it and their response was exactly this«we no longer do residential, we are doing commercial now, you’ll have to get someone else to fix it». Unbelievable!!! I really hope their«10 year contract» works out for them because they left a ton of very loyal customers in a lurch! Shame Shame Plugged In!!!

I have much to say regarding this company, but I will try to be brief. They replaced one of my 2 twenty year old AC units this summer. The price was good but the problem was they did not replace my 20 year old coil to go along with the new condenser. This caused the coil to leak refrigerant and froze the system. The owner Frank came out the first time problems were reported after the new condenser was put in and he said it wasn’t charged properly upon installation. No problem. He charged it and said it won’t happen again. Wrong! It happened again and a different tech came out and said we needed a new coil and he would send me a quote. 2 days later I called and was told that they would not do the work. They said they no longer were insured for residential service. I demanded that Frank the owner call me with no reply. Ive never been treated so poorly by a company. They completely washed their hands of me and said you’re on your own. I was left to find someone else to complete the job they left half finished. I echo the other reviewers warning to all property management and commercial customers. DONOTUSETHISCOMPANY, THEYCANNOTBETRUSTED!
