I have received X-​rays, cleaning, bleaching and a cap on one tooth from Dr. B. Price seemed entirely reasonable. I did not shop around, just went with his recommendations. He does not upsell you on $ 800+ «gum treatments.» He provided a lengthy explanation on why those are not helpful and indeed harmful in many situations. I don’t pretend to be a dentist-​I advise you to ask him yourself for the explanation. It is worth noting that another, less reputable dentist told me these were an essential part of my dental health and my mouth was basically going to fall apart without them done 4x per year at a cost of $ 3,800+ (and about $ 4,000 of other treatments Dr. B also recommended against).
Also, I have recommended several friends and family members to him, all of whom have reported he has done the same treatment on them that other dentists in more expensive communities do (South Pasadena and Beverly Hills) and charged about two thirds of the price of their previous dentist.
I even wanted to buy a new $ 300 Sonic care toothbrush from him, and he suggested I try Bed Bath and Beyond first because «I could use a coupon.»

I have been going to Dr. Benedetto since I was 3 years old. I love the work he does. He is honest and takes a lot of care and pride in his work! Love him. Don’t even think twice. They do amazing work! Love!

I have changed dentists a few times, as I’ve been unhappy about the finesse with which they’ve handles my young kids. My eldest especially has anxiety about dental work, and I was most worried about finding a good fit for him (yes, we even tried some «kids» offices). I asked some local mommy friends who they use, and two of them both recommended Dr. Benedetto right here in my own city. They said he has competative pricing, and a laid-​back environment.
So I did the test run, and went their for a cleaning first. I can honestly say I’ve never had such a painless and respectful experience at a dental office. The hygenist was super friendly, and she did the initial cleaning. She was so careful, and took her time… and I didnt come out of there bleeding and bruised for once! It didn’t hurt that they have direct Tv to watch as a distraction too — that you FOod network!
Then when Dr. Benedetto came in, he reviewed my xrays with me, and gave me a laser pointer for me to point out any of my concerns to him (as he had a camera in my mouth) — I’d never heard of that being done before. I had three dental concerns, and he prioritized them for me as to what should be done right away, what I should consider for preventative measures, and another item that could be put on standby. You really got that feeling that he knows what he’s doing.
He’s got a lot of modern advancements in the office that will save a lot of pain — including a «cavity detector» as I call it, that make a whiny noise when its held over tooth decay (PROOF that you have a cavity, and are not blindly believing a dentist as I see other reviewers have experienced). He also has air-​abrasion technology for more painless cavity filling (My doctor in canada used this, and it’s been hard for me to find around here).
In any case, I brought my kids here, and they all had a great experience. Even my nervous kid, was handled it very well. Again, didn’t hurt to have a cartoon to watch at the same time!

I had been told that by another dentist that I had approximately 12 cavities! Needless to say, I was devastated! I stayed away from dentists because of the price tag this other dentist had assigned to fixing me up. After realizing that I needed to do something about it, a friend recommended Dr. Benedetto.
His staff is courteous, and thoughtful. They knew I was a bit anxious about being back at the dentist’s office and made the experience a positive one. I had some x-​rays done and a deep cleaning. The doctor made absolute sure that my teeth were cleaned well (I used to smoke and had stains on my teeth). His bedside (or chair-​side) manner was amazing! We chatted about tennis, Doctor Who, and school in general. The conversation helped pass the time, and helped me forget about my anxiety. In the end it turned out that I only had 3 cavities!
He and his office have completely changed my opinion of dental offices. His prices were great, his care for his patient (me) was amazing, and the best part was his honesty. He could have lied to me and maintained the story that the other dentist had told me about my 12 cavities but Dr. Benedetto was truthful with me. He has a patient for life in me and I highly recommend him! Trust me, you won’t regret it!

I have been going to Dr. Benedetto for 23 years if that is any indication of his demeanor and abilities. He has worked with me on payments when I didn’t have insurance and when I have. He is honest and is truly a student of his profession. He is a perfectionist though, which you may only appreciate after the work is done. I highly recommend him.
