Frank the pharmacist is a consummate professional at Whites. He’s discrete, compassionate and adept at his job. The East End is fortunate to have him at their service.

Standard drug store with a decent selection. Doesn’t have everything the chains carry but it does the trick in a pinch. Forgot a lipstick and you’re heading to dinner? This is the only place for miles you’ll be able to get something like that.

Nice store with decent selection of apparel and gift shop novelties. Has a pharmacy inside and carries a lot of things you may need while on vacation. Some shops in the area have very high prices, the prices here are fair.

Of the many years I’ve home to Montauk, a lot has changed but this place remains the same. Their selection is out of this world in terms of gifts and souvenirs. If you are looking for beach themed items or souvenirs, you only need to stop here. They have a little bit of everything. I hope that the store stays there for more years to come!

I needed a completely random assortment of stuff — and it was all(with one exception) at White’s. Shopping list: two tacky, vacation beach towel; bucket; postcards; coconut water; Frisbee; and sunscreen. Tacky beach towel had a shark on it and read«Please bring more tourists, the last ones were delicious.» Bucket came with a handy shovel(unnecessary but cute). Encountered large selection of Frisbees and zeroed in on an Arobie. Failed on the hunt for coconut water(hence 4⁄5 stars). Also noticed that they have a pharmacy. My prior Unilocal search seemed to indicate the nearest one was 12+ miles away. Definitely recommended if you need assorted stuff. A fun game would be to pick random items and see whether they have them. There’s a high likelihood that the answer is yes. But don’t go expecting a «Dept Store». It’s not Bloomingdale’s people.

I love this place. It’s a must stop and walk around place every year. There is always some cute fresh produce sweatshirt to catch your eye. souveneirs. boardgames. total nonsense unless of course you need a prescription filled. which I have never done here. hehe

Surprisingly tiny drugstore section. You can find salon professional products here though and it’s open until pretty late.

The drugstore section is very tiny. It’s mostly overrun with beach stuff and useless trinkets. It’s like Woolworth’s without the cheap prices and with less stuff. This is where you can go for those MM paperbacks you can’t get at the bookstore. It’s also where you can go if you like seashells with your name written on them.

This isn’t really a department store per se, however, it does carry a bit of apparel and accessories for all of your beach front needs. Besides the staples of flip flops, sarongs, tanks, and tees emblazoned with phrases and Montauk monikers, there’s also a full drugstore of cosmetics, beauty supply, toiletries, some books and magazines. There’s cutesy, silly tcotchkes to peruse and other little goodies. There aren’t any other stores like this in the area, unless you need to go to a supermarket. So, to stock up on gear, beach reading and other much needed supplies(postcards!) give White’s a whirl.

C. and I didn’t spend a lot of time here, but if you visit Montauk frequently and stay for any amount of time of note, my guess is that you might stop here at least once per trip. White’s has everything — books, magazines, toys, clothing, Tylenol and such, shampoo, and other necessities. It’s not a grocery store, so for that you might need to go elsewhere, but if you’re on the plaza, this is the place to go for what you might need. Next to one-stop shopping.

Typical oceanside drugstore… think WINGS only smaller and older. But, if you need it… they got it. It’s right in the center on the east side of the circle.
