Came in today with a list of tools i needed for an assistance program i am starting at a Salon and Monica the manager greeted me as soon as I walked in. Gave me a great feeling I wasn’t going to have a hard time looking for anything. She walked right up to me ask me how I was doing and if I needed any help. With a look of confusion I just handed her the list I was given and told her I have no idea where any of these items are. She said«Don’t worry, I’ll help you and you’ll be out of here quickly. Within 10 minutes we were done and on our way. I couldn’t compliment her enough on her customer service here on Unilocal but everyone should know that she is definitely very professional and took care of me as a customer. I am very appreciative for that. It’s not too often in a business someone follows through to make sure the customer is satisfied. Thank you Monica for your help!

The best customer service hands down! I have to drive 30 minutes to this location, but I tell you is worth the drive. Rowling Heights, Pomona & this location are by far the best. The location in Chino Hills is just terrible as far as customer service. They won’t look for any products in the stock room if they have orders in boxes and you need a mass quantity of something they tell you to come back another day which I can understand. It takes a while to restock, sort out products, but what is bothersome is the fact that three days pass by and you go back. Boxes are still there and they simply tell you that they need more time to go through boxes… They won’t place an order of a product you need. They won’t even bother helping at all. With all being said. Avoid the Chino Hills location and come to this one. I Love the staff at this location!

I purchased with cash, the classic 76 oster clippers from cosmoprof for work and the on and off switch broke my first time using them. The receipt says returns can be done within 60 days, which I only had them for two days by the time I went to return them. The girls working there told me they can’t give me my money back because they aren’t allowed to keep that amount of money in there drawers which was $ 230 give or take some change. I stood there at that store for 2 hours waiting for my return to be honored. I called customer service, managers and district managers. Finally when I spoke to the district manager and told her I’m not leaving without my refund and will take this to civil court she asked to speak to one of the employees. Once the girl got of the phone with her district manager she whispered to her coworker that the district manager said to just give it to me. Mind u I’ve been there for 3 hours and not once did anyone pay with cash while purchasing anything… so low and behold she goes into her register and starts pulling out hundreds and twenties!!! It was amazing how I was told for two hours that they aren’t allowed and don’t have that amount of cash in their register!!! Then after handing me the money the employee told me not to go to their store to return anymore products if I purchased the product from a different cosmoprof location!!! I couldn’t believe she said that because that is not what it says on the receipt and not a return policy for this company. Never once was I rude or mean while trying to get my return yet they treated me awful!!! Don’t shop at this location and definitely don’t shop for expensive items here!!!

I just wanted to commend the awesome customer service here. It doesn’t matter that I always go right before they close, the girls are always willing to recommend new products or answer any questions I have. The employee that helped me today was very sweet even though there was less than 15 minutes til closing. I can really appreciate that and I think that’s a sign of good management.

Monica(the manager) provided me with outstanding service. I told her about some issues I was having with my hot tools curling iron and she was very accommodating and helpful. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

A beauty supply store only available to those who are licensed Cosmotologists and students in the process of becoming a Cosmotologist I believe(not sure who else gets a discount). Not open to the public in other words. This place has been good for the most part, I found pretty much all the higher end beauty lines sold at salons here and the hours are good. I knocked off two stars because what they advertise in their catalog that I receive in the mail is hardly ever available in the store, such as their specials and deals. This has happened on at least 3 occasions. So I come here with my shopping list only to find I cannot get half the stuff I want at that sale price. The other knocked off star is for the attitude that I receive from the sales associate on 2 occasions. One time I gave her a coupon and she forgot to swipe it and she didn’t want to give me some kind of store credit, she wanted to cancel my transaction and start over which wasn’t my preference. My card had already been ran through. So I ate the coupon! I don’t prefer doing returns on a credit card it can be a hassle with getting funds back! The other thing that got under my skin was just one time in my 10 + years of being a loyal customer I wanted to exchange a dry shampoo because it didn’t work! The spray worked first time I used it then stopped properly spraying the white powdery stuff so it was completely useless. The girl really nit picked the bottle and made a smart remark that even though there is hardly any product left I will give you an exchange. Gee thanks. Anyway, if you have a cosmotologist license and want a great deal on salon products go here, its worth the discount at least. I prefer to shop at their new Fontana location on Sierra where the staff there is awesome.
