Door and Window Dreams

Larry used to work for ganahl lumber and he opened his own company. i did give few
last job of window shutters i lost all my money tried calling and texting for last 3 months lots of excuses. stiil my shutters r not installed and my money is gone. i felt like am cheated by larry and the andy/​tony from
.i am filing police report and also notifying better business bureu. i suggest this to everyone who is dealing with this company simply do not trust and never pay anyone single penny in advance or deposite, specially this company.

I was on Craigslist looking for some used doors to replace my crappy hollow core doors that came with the house when we bought it, then I found Larry (Window and Door dreams) selling some brand new doors from a job that got cancelled. The doors he was selling wasn’t my dream doors, but it could work for a couple or more years when we thought we would be ready to buy the five panel shaker doors that we always wanted.
Since his price was so good on these overstock doors, I decided to ask the price of the five panel doors, just out of curiosity… Larry gave us a very good deal that it was hard to pass, but of course, I found him on Craigslist, so I was completely afraid that could be a scam, so I kept talking with him over the phone about measurements and door material and I couldn’t help noticing his knowledge, so I decided to give a first step and let him come and take the measurements of our doors and bring us a sample (which I learn what a «corner sample» looks like right now). Larry and his wife stop by and they were both very nice.
We got very excited, but I was still very afraid that could be a scam, so I did all my research, I went on his FB page, I google his company, his name, I called the manufacture to confirm that he was a legit reseller and he even fax me a copy of his reseller license, so I went to the State Board of Equalization website and checked. Everything looks right and he even has a truck with a big sticker on the back with the name and info of his company.
After all of that, we decide to give him a check for the deposit and sure enough a week later we did receive our doors, the way he promised and as expected. There is just one door that was back ordered, but Larry told me not to pay for the door until we receive it.
Anyways, after all of that, I promised Larry to leave a Unilocal review for him, especially for being very patient and not take it personal when I was asking for all the info for verification. He understood that it wasn’t about him personally, but me just trying to make sure that he was a legit business.

I was searching for some retro fit windows for my home in big bear, for about 2 months, I then came across a flyer in the Door Saver magazine and called Door and Window Dreams in Chino. The salesman Larry answered the phone and we talked a little about my windows then he told me he does free measures at the jobsites, so we set up a appointment. He drove all the way to Big Bear and he did all the measuring like he said he would. We talked more about the windows, grids options and he gave me a couple of quotes with very good pricing. I then went to his showroom and looked at his variety of windows, found the best one for my needs, I ended up going with Milgard Windows. I received great service and a very good product that cut down sound and kept in the warm air. I think we am ready for the snow season, bring it on.
