Disappointing. There is one person who can sorta do hair. The rest are clueless. Have no idea how to even tease hair.

Though the review’s a little belated, I wanted to show my appreciation for the beautiful, kick-​ass hair and makeup work done by the wonderful Lynn Leon. I really appreciate the tidiness of the place and the talent within its walls. Fair prices, and even though I had trouble articulating what I wanted (I’m a little skittish and I don’t usually go to get my hair done!), Lynn took care of everything. I couldn’t be happier with the result, it really helped make my prom as fun as it was. I plan to return soon, and highly reccomend this business!!!

Thank you, Lynn, for the absolutely fabulous job you did on my daughter’s hair and makeup! She wanted the pin up look, and it was spot on. She received so many compliments at her Senior Prom. Her hair even held up throughout the following day’s trip to Disneyland. We will definitely be coming back for all of our special occasion hair and/​or makeup needs.

Just had a good feeling about this place and sure enough, Lynn was amazing! She did my makeup perfectly and listened to my picky self. My hair, was exquisite. Very professional and I love supporting young Montebello entrepreneurs. Overall, I found my lady for future events.

I guess they don’t want new customer’s I called about an 1 ½ to try and see if I can make an appointment for tomorrow, the girl that answered seemed distracted and and said can I call you back in 30 mins. I said sure but didn’t say if there was or not any openings for tomorrow… Oh Well they lost a potential new customer…

I have never been to a salon where they leave hair dye all over your forehead, ears and sides. I was very annoyed at the fact that the stylist a.k.a. The co-​owner didn’t even bother cleaning it up. I paid top dollar for my color and didn’t get the results I wanted. Not to mention that my hair stylist kept leaving the salon for doughnuts and drinks. Although I have to admit The co-​owner was informative and kind. I don’t think their customer service is bad but I do think they’re performance could’ve been better.

I will never go anywhere else for a hair cut again. Paige always takes good care of me. Her work is amazing and very well priced. The staff is also very nice and funny. I’ve never been to a salon that was so hip and welcoming!

I absolutely love getting my monthly hair cut here, I’m very picky when it comes to cutting my hair since I don’t want the cut your whole hair off incident lol but Paige, does a great job in listening to what I want and giving me that and more! She’s very friendly and listens to what you’re looking for in hair care, the rest of the girls here as just as sweet and professional, the place has a very cute vintage style to it. Very clean and comfortable with a great seating area. Love this place, highly recommend this place !

I went in for a haircut and I have to say I was very happy. Carolina talked me through all the steps and explained to me why she was doing certain things. I really appreciated being informed. Since I’m trying to grow my hair out she simply took off some weight and gave it some texture. I am very pleased with my hair. I love that she was able to help me decide what would work best for me. She was very easy to talk to and professional. Every one in the salon was very nice and welcoming. I’m so glad I decided to give this salon a try. I will definitely be coming back. I think I may have found my new salon. :)

I love this place. Both Lynn and Carol are friendly, knowledgable and professional.
Lynn is so amazing! Before Lynn, my hair always looked meh. And it wasn’t in good condition since I would wait forever for a trim cuz I didn’t want to look for another stylist to just give me a mediocre cut. Now it’s healthier and I get tons of compliments even tho I don’t do anything to it. Seriously, I just wash and air dry. My hair is extremely dark and hard to lighten, yet Lynn patiently checks it and rechecks it, and even reapplies until it looks right and I’m satisfied.
Lynn also does men’s styles, and photo shoots/​special occasions hair and makeup. She’s one of the few around that makes beautiful vintage and pin-​up styles.
The salon is really spacious and clean. All the fixtures are new. And they only use quality products and tools. There’s a comfy sofa and wingchair in the waiting area. Plenty of street parking in the front or the lot in the back. They are very reasonably priced, especially for the results you get.

I have been seeing Carol for years and she just opened her own beauty salon with Lynn. Came for my 6 week touch up highlights dye and cut. Never disappointed.
