Montebello Custom Picture Frames

I came yesterday during there business hours and I couldn’t find the place because I was looking for a business sign but this place didn’t have one. When I looked for the business by the address I found it but was surprised by the big iron door that was LOCKED. After knocking a man came to the door and assisted me but when I told the man I wanted a picture framed he told me his wife does that and she wasn’t there at the moment but to come back in 5 hours. I told the man I was going to be busy later so I came back the next day. I was surprised at the price the lady gave me because I wanted a simple brown frame. She lowered the price by $ 5 so I told her ok. Later I call to find out if it’s ready and the lady sounding confused hangs up on me! I go a couple hours later and call before entering because their door was LOCKED again. I waited a few minutes and then was let in. The brown frame was very simple and the back part was covered by a very thin later of cardboard paper so I’m going to have to be very careful with my portrait. I live in Montebello so I when I searched this place I choose it but wow my experience was unique here. The store sells Herbalife and I’m assuming the picture framing is something that is done on the side.

The owner of Montebello Custom Picture Frames has been providing me with services prior to opening his business. Not only does he provide quality frames, he has great taste. Upon request, Roger provides an expert’s opinion. I depend on his judgment and value his input. For example, even when I think I want a mat or double mat, which would mean more income for his business, at times Roger will say I don’t need it. At other times, he recommends a different type of frame, mat or color from what I had in mind. Instantly, I can usually see the difference his recommendation makes. The prices are unbeatable too.
