Hate this place so much. My grandma had to sit with a soiled diaper for half an hour before anyone came by. And they only came by after I went to the nurses station to ask. Given they only had one lady doing this for the whole express recover wing. She was a sweetheart. Bless her heart.
Update: Grandma was discharged on the 24^th even though she still couldn’t move her leg and has an open wound from her surgery that hast even remotely closed. The dressings she had were filthy and hadn’t been changed. They also discharged her without any home instructions. Her doctor is incompetent and doesn’t care for her patients. Also social workers do nothing to lobby for their patients.
Also we have caught the case worker and doctors lying about diagnosis just to avoid ordering items patients need.

If you love your family member keep them home or do NOT take them here. My mom came here to only get rehabilitation for her legs to walk better and get stronger. She ended up getting a pneumonia from her roommate and due do how weak her immune system got being in the room all day she later passed away. The ppl taking care of her were so imcompassinate they could really careless for the patients here. I regret having my mom go here for the rehabilitation bc i do believe she died bc of lack of care. I visited her countless times n she always sad she was cold, hungry, n that the ppl didnt treat her right. I didnt realize how bad she was mistreated till it was too late. Pls dont send your loved one here bc they will be mistreated like my mom was. The week she passed the nurse taking care of her said my mom was a faker that her illness was all in her head. When she died her doctor dr. Toscado didnt even stay till we got there to let us know what her cause of death was we waited about 2 weeks to find out n previously he had always seemed ro be a stand up guy. I guess if he isnt on the clock it wasnt his problem anymore. DO SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE!!!
