Burke Salon

I’m someone who doesn’t take advantage of salon services as often as I should.
When I to to see Wendy, though, I realize what I am missing (when it’s done by a pro). We can talk easily about what we’re thinking about my hair. I’ve invariably trusted her to do a great job – worth the price – and been right in that trust.
One of the many pleasures of having Wendy do my hair is that she’s smart, very well-​read, and curious about the world. Not all that common, and such a treat to talk with her! We can talk the entire time during a color, cut, and styling and never once feel that the subject must be confined to soap operas, facebook, or gossip. This last time we had a great conversation about Samuel Beckett, the playwright, and his plays.
All that, and it’s comfortable talking with her on ways to keep costs down!

Only five stars? I wish I could give more. Wendy makes getting one’s hair done a comforting and rewarding experience. Great value for the cost. I have never, in my twenty years of getting my hair professionally done, ever felt so relaxed and assured of the outcome.
She can be trusted with any hair situation, or life situation, as she gives good hair as much as she takes great care in listening. A trip to Burke Salon is as much a reward in look as it is in life. I am thrilled for her new venture, and insist you are not being steered wrong by supporting her success.

Wendy does a great job… went this morning… my hairs never looked better!!! She really knows whats she’s doing. I highly recommend her, and her shop is adorable.
