Dr. Zeidburg is amazing! She’s so welcoming and friendly! I was very hesitant to find a new doctor but I’m so happy I was recommended to her. Her front end staff is also very great. I had insurance issues when I first got there and the lady at the front desk was so patient and kind with me!

I can’t stress enough of how great of a gyno/ob Dr. Zeidberg is. She is so sweet and very informative. One of the only Doctors left in Monterey that actually CALLS her patients back! Her staff is so sweet as well. Had an ultrasound that had some scary findings and she fit me into her schedule ASAP to calm me down and talk about a plan. Turned out to be nothing but I felt so comfortable and felt like I was in great hands. If you need a good, sweet, caring and relatable Doctor, Dr. Zeidberg is your gal!

Dr. Zeidberg took me in as a new patient already needing help with an issue identified by an out of state doctor. She did not hassle me or make me go thru unnecessary retesting. She was straightforward and told me what I needed to know.

The positive: I have an aesthetically pleasing scar after major surgery, & she was the first MD to request an ultrasound after hearing my symptoms. The negative: 1. She is almost always late, if she does show up. 2. She is condescending. I felt she didn’t want my husband there for the discussion of options regarding my health problems. When I told her I opted for a hysterectomy rather than repeated surgeries/hormone treatment for decades, she(understandably) was concerned I might one day want children. I reinforced that I did not, & that my husband had had a vasectomy(a decision we made together). She then said the divorce rate was 50% & my future husband might want children. LINECROSSED. 3. After surgery, my diagnosis was changed. I didn’t have the problem she thought I had. That’s understandable. But she didn’t tell me about it. Not until the end of my followup appointment, when I said«by the way, what about such & such?» Then, she told me I didn’t have it, it was a misdiagnosis, and the pathology turned up something different. That should have been mentioned by her at some point. I felt she was hiding the fact that she had made a mistake. 4. Needed a pain med refill after surgery, no return phone call. 5. She didn’t complete the job. I have a perfect scar & I’m grateful for that. But she didn’t completely remove my uterus. I have mini-periods on a regular basis, & that includes the familiar cramps in my lower back, thighs and lower abdomen. I didn’t even know such a thing was possible until my new MD talked to me about it. I never would have thought that after a hysterectomy(and thousands of dollars) that I would still have problems like this. Overall, I would say she is an absent doctor with judgemental tendencies. I felt she was too busy to properly follow up with me after surgery, & I have found a new GYN.

Had a 9 am appt. Was first one in the door. At 915 I Was told practitioner would be there at 930. Was placed in exam room at 930 and waited until 945 and decided to leave because I took time off from work for this and I had to go! No explanation let alone an apology for the delay from anyone, poor customer service and the receptionist needs better training to handle such situations. Won’t be back.

I found Dr Zeidburg on my insurance plans website. set up an appointment, her office rescheduled me 4 times before I even had a chance to see her .that should have been a flag for what I was about to encounter with her staff. Front desk girl was super nice, the billing lady was a NIGHTMARE! RUDE. completely unemphatic and lacking compassion. Her office was a pile of disorganized paper and crap everywhere. I was about to find out horrible bedside mannor. And I quote«I see you are upset. You need to calm down, you are not the only patient.» A doctors office should employ a staff that treat everybody as individuals based on the situation. And most importantly, handle each situation with professionalism. I was made to feel as if the error with the insurance company was my fault. when it was clearly a mistake that was out of my hands. Obviously, what’s important is the money not the health or concern for the patient. if her staff is any indication of what she is like. BEWARE I hope everybody sees this review and considers a different doctor. waste of time. Happily, none of my money contributed to their paychecks.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Zeidberg after Planned Parenthood found a polyp and essentially scared the bejesus out of me by not giving me any information about what that meant. My first visit with Dr. Zeidberg was pretty to the point. She attempted to remove it to no avail. She had to refer me to US. Then, a week later, I returned to consult with her about what to do. I have to say, she’s very informative and to the point. She’s clear about what she’s doing and is very honest about what she sees and her plan(s) of action. I feel very comfortable with her and have decided to make her my permanent OB/GYN. Her staff is also very kind and friendly, however one of them is a bit… abrasive. She’s not rude, just blunt. Overall though, absolutely wonderful experience given the sensitive nature of what she does!
