I’d almost given up on looking for a salon in all of Monterey that would dye my boxed black dye, long, thick, and wavy hair. Almost every other one of the 5 or 6 salons I went to kept suggesting something different from what I wanted, or they needed me to first do a consultation. I felt like giving up since I didn’t think it was that difficult to dye my hair. I knew that the box dye limited my options and I understood that.
When I walked in to Sirens, I found Inez working by herself. I told her about the luck I’ve had that day. She decided to squeeze me in for an appointment. She was immediately friendly, understanding, and overall had a great attitude and customer service.
She worked on my hair for hours and still kept a great attitude the whole time. She transformed my hair beautifully, the best it’s ever looked. I’m so thankful that I came across Inez! Would definitely recommend her !!

I had my hair cut by Inez this past weekend and I will most definitely be back. I came in with some blunt layers that i wanted softened up but not too much taken off the length. Not only did she do exactly what I wanted but we had a lovely time chatting. This small salon is warm, cozy, and friendly. The atmosphere is exactly what I look for in a salon. I highly recommend checking her out for your cut and color!

Whether you are looking for a whole new look, an up-​do, or had a hair disaster (from someone else), Jodi is the one to call. Jodi has done at least 6 up-do’s on my hair (which isn’t easy to tame), she can make my hair fabulous at any length. It is so hard to find someone that isn’t only great at color but that can cut too! I had been going to Jodi for my hair for years and can not say enough good things about her! Since I no longer live near Jodi, I have to see 2 different people to get this job done. For 2 years I traveled (baby in tow) over an hour to get to her, but having another baby made this impossible. I miss you Jodi!

siren’s hair design is the best place to go! the prices are reasonable, the quality of work is amazing! i always feel so much better after having my hair done by jodi! it’s the only place i will go to have my hair colored!

I made my first appointment with Jodi based on a friend’s recommendation on facebook about a month ago. I was so impressed! I love her little shop, it’s so warm and inviting and perfectly decorated. Jodi, herself is very sweet and talkative and makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. I asked for dramatic lowlights and highlights, and she did exactly what I asked for. She is a «younger» stylist and very on trend. I will be going back to see her this week!

I have been getting my hair done by Jodi for over 10 years and I have always left the salon with an amazing cut and my color has always been exactly what I came in asking for. She isn’t afraid to try new, funky, fun things with my hair and is always a step ahead of the current trends. The salon has recently been remodeled and it is beautiful! Her prices are affordable and she has evening appointments. Now that I have let the entire Peninsula know the best hair stylist in town… I better still be able to get an appointment!
