This a great park to stop at. I have been a few times on the way back and forth to Louisiana. It has a nice trail and its very pretty. For the most part it is clean and feels safe. They also have bathrooms by the softball field. Most of all its convenient to the highway so that is extremely helpful for my travels.

It is an open sunny park with a golf course, a track for walking/running, lodge, a small lake for fishing, and a playground.
Whenever I am in Montgomery, I run here, but there isn’t much shade from the Alabama heat. It is a Westside gem!
