SAVE has relocated from it’s former, aging offices on Herrontown Road in Princeton, to the gorgeous new facility at 1010 Route 601 in Skillman, right near Montgomery High school. SAVE is the regional dog & cat adoption center for homeless dogs & cats. They get strays & «surrendered» pets from all over the Princeton area, and sometimes from the southern US. For a homeless dog or cat, ending up here is like winning the lottery, because they are all treated with kindness, affection, and medical attention by the caring staff & volunteers. For those lucky enough to adopt a dog or cat from SAVE, you’ll be saving a life, and getting a complete background on your animal, because the staff here knows these animals’ behaviors far better than most breeders and pet stores. If you are looking for a place to volunteer, in the Princeton/Montgomery area, there’s no better place to go than SAVE. You’ll be helping to socialize a dog or cat(which makes them more adoptable) and –trust me on this — it’s a VERY rewarding experience for us two-legged beasts as well.
