To all you hungry people out there, while my wife and I were visiting our daughter in Texas. They took us to what we would consider world class deli, our experience was over the top. From the minute we walked through the door, the service was outstanding, and the personal attention to our food was fantastic. Our food was amazing!!! On the day we flew back home to California, we actually stopped there for the last time to get another sandwich. We wish we had a deli like that here in California. We look forward to our next trip, not only to visit but, to stop at Tony’s Italian Deli!!!

Stopped in as this was across the street. Best sub sandwiches in a loooong time. We had several 20 somethings visiting and they all loved the hot sandwiches. So much meat, generous servings, heated just right. I like the hot turkey but all were great.

Our family of four each had different sandwiches and each exclaimed it was the best sandwich we have EVER had! I had the Robert De Niro and I’m glad I got it on the fresh baked white roll instead of the rye. It was huge and simply delicious! You could easily share one sandwich, but it’s also nice to have the other half for the road. The staff was super friendly and can’t recommend this wonderful eatery high enough.

The«godfathers» of the sub world. These sandwiches are so good that you keep coming back to try the next one on the menu. Hands down the best sub shop in a 100 miles.

Can’t get enough of this place… Want to try them all! They do it right here. Quality ingredients, good prices, and great service! The chicken parmigiana is the best I’ve ever had. The D. Martin is just as good. Only question is are you in the mood for a hot or cold sandwich? Highly recommend!!!

I felt like I was on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx! Best sandwiches in Texas! The owners are awesome, and everything is made homemade including the pepper mix and marinated Jalepenos. Worth the drive from anywhere.

Hidden gem, reminds me of being on Arthur Ave in NYC. Fantastic sandwiches. Staff are unlike any other in this area. They love what they do and it appears they have fun doing it. This place has a great feel and a really cool story. If you’re in the area you’ve got to give it a chance.

This is the BEST sandwich deli in all of East Texas. The food is obviously delicious, but nothing compares to Mary and her crew. The chef salad is also amazing. Favorite sandwiches are the Sophia Loren and the Gandolfoni. A gem.

I was running an errand up near Lake Conroe, and asked my phone, «What’s the best place to eat around here?» It then led me to a nondescript strip mall, and Tony’s Deli. I gotta say, I never bother to review places, but I’m making an exception. My sandwich(the Frank Sinatra) was a religious experience. After talking with Hootie, your best bet may just be letting him surprise you. He knew I was a first-timer, and everybody was super friendly. I had already ordered, and he found out that I liked hot food. Told me about some super spicy salami he had and that he’d handle everything next time. Think I’ll let him do exactly that. While I waited, I saw him work through his regulars, interviewing everybody for what they liked, what they didn’t, what they might try just a little of, and even which sandwich was better to eat on the road(less messy), etc. It was impressive. The subs are massive, and I kept Part 2 for the next day. And he was right — they’re better on the 2nd day. Can’t praise this place enough.

Yous lookin for a great sandwich? Look no further … Plug Tony’s into your GPS and take a little tootle down 105. Going West on 105 off of FishCreek. You’ll see it. Going East on 105, you’ll most likely miss it. All I have to say is… WHAT a GOLDMINE! 10 feet from their front door you’ll be hit with the aroma that will take you to Molanari’s in North Beach or Mike’s Deli in The Bronx… And here it is in your own backyard people. Wowsie! I ordered the F. Sinatra — it’s a simple Italian with Genoa, heavenly pesto, tomatoes and oil and vinegar– it was divine(forewarning, it’s a Large sandwich and half was left over).I’m not a Rueben girl, but took one bite and the first 3, honest to goodness words that went to my brain were, OMG. And who needs chips when you have marinated peppercinis and jalapeños…These definitely hit the spot. The sincere owners were as sweet as could be and they not only work hard, but they take great pride in their business and it shows. One of the most well known guides is the Michelin series, which award one to three stars to restaurants perceived to be of high culinary merit. One star indicates a «very good restaurant»; two stars indicate a place«worth a detour»; three stars means«exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey». If everyone could experience a well rounded and spectacular experience, be it with a street cart vendor to a trendy city restaurant — where the service was genuine and exceptional, the chef/owners were excited to prepare something for you and anxiously awaited to ensure you were pleased. What a treat, Right? Well, that unfortunately doesn’t happen too often and when it does… It deserves the highest rating Unilocal has to offer. Thank you for a memorable experience and We’ll be back!

Wow!!! These ratings are completely deserved!!! First time here and I didnt exactly know what to get. The man behind the counter offered some help and I let him chose. Our sandwiches get done and holy moly!!! Mine is huge!!! Enough to feed 3 people for lunch! Sure enough the man came around to check on us and it happened to be the owner, who is involved in the cooking as well! Trys to get as much local ingredients, and makes a lot of the toppings in house! Im totally coming back!!!

Easily the best sandwich place I have been to since moving to Texas four years ago. The Danza pastrami sandwich was absolutely perfect. Best pastrami I have had since visiting New York. Great, helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Over 150 reviews and 100% 5 star? Is this the highest rated sandwich joint in the history of Texas? Sandwich exploded with fresh scratch flavor and the bread was outstanding. Jesus could not make a better sandwich with his holy loaves.

I enjoyed the Lucky Luciano sandwich. The meatball sub is great. The people are so nice too. I recommend it for anyone that wants that big city taste in the country.

This is by far the best sandwich I’ve EVER had. If you are in town believe the hype because it is REAL. Restaurants just don’t get 5 stars by chance, this place is the f$&@!$& truth. Keep it up. P. S. Great taste in music.

Holy Mother of all that is sandwiches. Probably the best sandwiches I have ever had. Sunday, just after lunch time, my husband and I stopped in for a bite. This little Delicatessen is super cute. The menu is themed. All sandwiches named after actors/actresses. I ordered the Danza and my husband ordred the Devito. We get our sandwiches and they were gigantic! So much food! They were so delicious! So fresh! Thanks for the great food, Tony’s. Can’t wait to be back!

Get the Stallone! Tony does something to the bread that I can’t describe. Maybe he soaks the inside with some kind of pesto but it is DELISH! Hands down one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I wish there was a closer location to me in Houston but since there’s not, I still go out to Conroe for it. That speaks for itself doesn’t it?
