For those who read Unilocal, the dar down the street, several months ago was a great place to go for a good drink, now that the bar has a new owner, what a joke, rasied prices, lowered the amount of alcohol, all for the might buck, down the street has been there for years, over the past few months we spent lots of money, Tonight seat around the table, the new owners came in with this holy then thou attitude(we are better then everyone here) playing around the a mannequin, was asked to leave then call the cops, then some load mouth friend of there come over and threatened us, so all of you who read this, do not go to the DOWNTHESTREETBAR. serve you then call the police.

FRIENDLY, BUTINNEEDOF A FACELIFT Down the Street, a favorite local watering hole for about 40 years, deserves a new lease on life. A small patio/deck is about the only new addition in recent memory. Regulars still enjoy themselves… but even they complain about the bar’s condition and clearly deserve better for their years of patronage. Still, the beer is cold and the drinks are as strong as the friendships at Down The Street. It’s the type place where everyone knows everyone, but they also welcome out-of-town tourists and summer residents. There’s a good juke box, a few pool tables and plenty of conversation. The place just needs the right person to come along, bring it back, and entice customers Down The Street.

Pleasant venue; but small. We had good drinks there, not weak or watered. Danced for an hour. -

Down the Street Lounge is a lively local hangout. The drinks are cheap and plentiful, and local artists perform regularly. Don’t plan on driving home.
