City Market Food & Pharmacy

Our shuttle driver recommended the super market to stock our condo while driving from Montrose to Telluride. I really would have given it five stars but the physical building inside and out is really old, not matching the excellent food and service we received. They had a large selection of organic food including fruits and vegetables. Their deli had an expansive cheese selection. The produce department had no less than 10 types of apples. The employees were helpful and did not appear bored. Great place to stock up!

By far the best supermarket in Montrose. Service deli, cheese and bakery departments have loads of options… Humboldt Fog, St. Andre triple cream brie… and even a few Cowgirl Creamery options. The modest sushi department is a-okay…spicy tuna, crunchy rolls and a variety of other options too. I’m from L.A. and I eat some of the best and freshest sushi around so I can recommend the sushi here for a quick snack or meal. Produce was decent… quite a variety… escarole, baby spinach, arugula, mangoes and Ranier cherries, yippee! Montrose grocery shopping has come a long way, so glad City Market is here!
This location is by far, better than the north location as it offers much more variety and a more extensive product selection. Much larger and newer than the other… and there’s a liquor store right next door, yippee!

Went to go get some fresh produce and met a couple a friendly birds flying around and enjoying the fresh produce. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
