We bought two pairs of shoes and socks for our grandsons in two separate transactions. However, one transaction at 10:30AM was interrupted with an afterthought to add socks, so there was a two minute delay to complete the transaction. Apparently, the transaction was inadvertently closed out, and then the shoes and socks were posted again. I saw the discrepancy(being charged twice for one pair of shoes) on my credit card statement, and called the store. I spoke with the store manager that researched this transaction electronic and with video tapes. What he found verified my recollection and the second charge was reversed. They also offered a store credit for my grandsons. I was glad they took the time to look into this and do the right thing. People can make mistakes. At the same time, purchasers are wise to check over their receipts and credit card statements.
