My husband and I stayed at a Candlewood Suite in Mooresvill, SC and they were great. We needed a place to bring are dogs and they welcomed them as if they were family. Their rooms were spotless, good size and updated appliances. Are experience was wonderful and would stay hands down before the Extended Stay.
Just a piece of advice do not stay at the Extended Stay. Check their reviews before booking. None of their reviews are good!

Stayed the 1st time with Candlewood Suites and must say I´m absolutely satisfied for the comfort provided.
The Candlewood Suites Hotel is located very close to the beautiful Lake Norman area (20min from Charlotte) and only a few minutes far from the next highway.
Rooms are looking very new and are properly equipped with microwave oven, huge fridge-​/​cooler (at least for our european standards :)), dishwasher, small cooking area. A limited selection of food can be purchased at the cupboard.
No breakfeast offered.
Limited gym in new quality available. Small pool onside.
Front desk staff is very friendly and supportive.
I could not recognize any noise at nighttime from the nearby roads…

Love it! Very family friendly. Housekeeping was quick to bring a vacuum every time I called (my kiddos are messy eaters). The pool is indoors and very warm! The room was clean and the kitchenette made cooking easy. The only downside is the entrance into the parking lot is tight and not conducive for trailers.

Super clean, roomy suite, pet friendly, a whole list of amenities. Free wifi, comfy bed, business center, gym, indoor pool, a honor system cupboard that is stocked with everything from toothbrushes to fresh fruit you can check out games, books, dvd’s, and small appliances.

Hotel is great! No breakfast but really good kitchenette with full refrigerator! What a life saver when you have full coolers. Pool is heated and saline, always well kept with enough pool towels. Closes early though (9 pm) but open early (6 am). Beds are firm, bathtub has a nice lean and sufficient hot water. Two chairs at a L shaped work desk plus a recliner.
All in all a great value. Was so good we booked both coming and going on our trip. We’ll be back.

Stayed here for business this week. It was very close to my conference and close to restaurants. I love the modern décor. This hotel has everything I need including good size color flatscreen tv and pay as you go pantry. Location is close to wooded area and highway. Everything worked well, had no Internet issues like I sometimes do at other hotels. Love that they have dvd player in the room. Candlewood is now favorite non luxury hotel brand. This is as close to home as I can get on a budget. Good size fitness room and free laundry facility!

New hotel. Stayed 1÷28÷13 — 1÷31÷13. Hotel is new, and has a «new» feel to the property. Signage in room stated that the rooms would not be serviced every day because it was an «Extended Stay» however my bed was made every day I was there with new towels for the bath. All rooms have a nice size fridge, microwave, electric cook top range, dishwasher and nice Flat Screen TV with DVD player. Front desk has a collection of DVD’s that guests can check out. There is also a small market near the front desk which has some frozen food entrees and other items, I will use this property again.
