I live in Mooresville and like supporting small and local businesses. There are actually a handful of local pool & spa shops, but I choose to go to this one every time. The staff is always very pleasant and greet me every single time. They are located in the shopping center near(but not at) Target, next to the Food Lion. They’re across the street from Lowe’s Home Improvement if that’s more helpful. It’s a little strip mall with easy in & out parking. We don’t have a pool, but we do have a spa…(Why won’t the industry just call them what they are = Hot Tubs!). I guess«spa» sounds fancier. I digress… This shop will give you a free container to collect a water sample, and when you bring it back in, they’ll test it for free. They can test it more thoroughly than you can at home with test strips. Based on that, they can make recommendations for care & supplies. I have a bag full of supplies, PH up, PH down, Bromine, Shock, etc… I use the basic test strips and adjust the chemicals as needed. I never measure, I just free pour(or sprinkle). The biggest item I need to refill on the most is bromine, so I get that here. I’ve also called them or gone in just to ask questions. What do I do if… What happens when… Do I really need to drain it and clean it… They’re always honest, well informed and helpful! They never try to hard sell me on anything I don’t need. I’ve been here probably ten times, and only once did I buy anything other than the bromine I needed. No hard sells. On pricing, and trust me — I’m cheap — their pricing is fair. In fact, it’s lower than Amazon which most stores cannot say. So it’s a win-win: low price, easy service, and supports local businesses.
