We to Queens Landing for the fireworks and got there a little early. Our party was hungry so we decided to try Jacks Lakeside Grill. After we ordered we waited almost 15 minutes for our drinks. Our apps took over 30 minutes and was told the kitchen was a little behind. We saw 2 tables walk out about 45 minutes later that still didn’t get their food. We were finally served 1hour later and the food was not that good. If we weren’t there for the fireworks we would have walked out too. This place needs a owner that knows how to run a restaurant. I don’t think we will return anytime soon.

Can’t really rate this joint because we had menus dropped off and that was it… after 15 minutes of being ignored we left.

Jack’s Lakeside Grill is located at Queen’s Landing in Mooresville and gets most of its business from the boating crowd pulling into to refuel their boats and/or their bellies. Jack’s offers just about anything you would need on a hot day: beer, ice cream, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, snacks, etc. The layout is basically cafeteria-style, where you load up a tray and pay at the end. Some items, such as pizza and burgers, take a bit longer, and the food isn’t what you would call gourmet. If you’ve been out on the boat for a while, though, its good enough. Jack’s has seating on the patio as well as indoor tables, and is available to host birthday parties. During the summer, Jack’s is open until at least 8pm Wed-Sat and can be a welcome source of beverages when you run out on the boat.
