We love The Philly Pretzel Factory in Mooresville! Every time we go in there we are greeted with such warm friendly smiles! There aren’t many places around town that give you the type of service you get at the Philly Pretzel Factory! The pretzels are always of the highest quality! Always fresh and hot right out of the oven! Anyone who is looking for good pretzels should go ck this place out. I will be back again and again Nd again …

I’m in there at lest once a week. The young woman and young man that works there are so nice. I went in there on Sunday they where open, but they said they where closed we just wanted some nuggets. I order a lg box. Brought them home. opened the box and they where hard as rocks. I get it. It was the end of the day. She should have told me they are a little hard. She also should have charge me half price, being they where only going to throw them out. We I told her about it the next day, she was a little nasty to me. Telling well you came in at the end of the day. We were closed. And then turned her back on me. That’s how you treat a customer? And a good customer no less.

The only thing I liked were the regular salted pretzels with cheese dip. Here’s what I didn’t like: The girl working the counter is either less than 6 hours into her first day at work or is a complete moron. Everyone in line had to wait for some problem to be dealt with as she figured out, on the job, how to work the cash register and not mess up people’s orders. I didn’t expect to be waiting 30 minutes in a pretzel shop that had maybe 5 customers the whole time. They also seemed to be out of a whole lot… In the middle of the day. No cheesesteak pretzels, ran out of hot dog pretzels, had to make new pretzels right then(it’s ok, they were fresh). And while 10 pretzels for $ 5 seems like a good deal, keep in mind the shape of a pretzel, and imagine the bottom half of it removed. It was more like a pretzel link than a full pretzel. Also, if you order more than just pretzels, prepare to get ripped off. The order in front of me got the $ 5 deal for 10 pretzels and it was $ 5.24. I had to be difficult and added 2 small dishes of dipping sauce(each one lasts about 4 pretzels if you dip like me) and a 16 oz bottle of Cheerwine. My total was $ 11.70. I was floored. I had to get a refund on the dipping sauce and drink because the gas station across the street lets you use mustard for free and sells 32 oz fountain drinks for 69 cents. And most fast food places will pile dipping sauces in your bag for no charge. Charging $ 2 for a small container of cheese or 50 cents for 2 dips worth of mustard is absurd. Oh, by the way, they had to call the manager on the phone to figure out how to give me a damn refund for 1 sauce and a drink(which was $ 4.50, the price of a small fast food combo). That took 15 minutes too. Lastly, the garlic pretzels didn’t taste like garlic, they tasted like burnt ash with no discernible garlic flavor aside from the aftertaste. I only gave it 2 stars because the salted pretzels were soft and fresh, so they were pretty good. But that’s not worth the infuriating experience of dealing with the idiots who work there and getting half my order at the local gas station to save money. Never again, Philly Pretzel Factory. Never again…

Been here once. Loved their mini sized bites, but will have to come back and try this place again to give a better review. I also got the hot dog wrapped in pretzel and that was a hit with my kids, although how can you go wrong with a hot dog wrapped in a tasty pretzel?

My daughter and I just happened to be riding past on a day they had a $ 5 for 10 special. I love pretzels(and bread in general) so I could NOT ride by without investigating this deal. We went in to check out the place. I thought it was new but I wasn’t sure because we don’t usually go to that specific area so I’d never seen the place. It looked clean and the lady at the counter was very nice. She let me pick out the pretzels I wanted and even gave me a coupon for a future visit. I bit into my first pretzel as soon as I got back to the car. Couldn’t wait. Yum! It took me a few days to eat 10 pretzels and I even had to(grudgingly) share with a friend.(Hard to believe but my daughter isn’t really a pretzel fan.) Sadly, some of my pretzels got hard in places before I could eat them all. That did NOT deter me. I dampened and warmed them enough to make them edible again. When we return to the nearby Target, I will make a special trip across the road to the Philly Pretzel Factory.

Today I accompanied my niece(on her preschool field trip) to the Philly Pretzel Factory. The owner there was gracious enough to show the kids how pretzels are made. I felt like I was in a show on The Food Network! As Rod O. pointed out, they have an open kitchen area, where you can literally watch the pretzel dough being turned into«dough sticks», where they make the«sticks» into the classic pretzel shape, then watch them be dipped & baked. The whole process is pretty quick, but really neat to watch from start to finish. They carry a variety of pretzels… they even have the«hot dog» type pretzel & a philly cheesesteak pretzel. In addition, they have several types of dipping sauces. Their prices are reasonable & they have drink coolers full of bottled soft drinks, water & juice. Friendly staff & a clean shop. Another plus: they offer pretzel trays for parties & meetings.

These pretzels are the best from a chain that I’ve had. They are super cheap and a great snack. Made fresh, served hot. My only complaint is mustard should NOT cost extra. That’s like charging for ketchup w/your fries. I highly recommend as a treat for marketing calls– they always get a great reaction and are a nice departure from cookies and candy.
