Excellent food. Everything made from scratch. The wild rice meatloaf and kalevala hash was terrific. Worth the drive.

Great food. Home cooked! Their breads are great. They have cranberries in their slaw, the view is fantastic. All was tasty. The service was great. The décor was country style. About a dollar overpriced per plate but the restaurant was a cut above the rest in the area. I had the pork tenderloin with fries. It was hot and crispy and juicy when I bit into it. My brother had the chili and liked it quite a bit.

This restaurant was worth the drive into town. Lots to look at(sort of like sitting in a gift shop, but in a good way) and scratch made everything. The all day breakfast menu looked amazing, but we had lunch. I had a patty melt with homemade hand battered onion rings, subbing out the rye bread for homemade wild rice/cranberry bread. Yum. The menu also had a decent gluten free section and three delicious sounding homemade soups. Took us awhile to decide what to order! Though we didn’t test it out, they also boast a coffee bar and hand dipped ice cream. We really liked their less common service decisions as well, including the«buddy plate» option and built in shared«service fee»(see pictures). Will stop again!

Very nice. Clean. Friendly Standard American fare. A bit pricey. Nice variety of choices on the menu. My burger(with an over easy egg on top) was perfect but the fries were not very hot. I went in at a very slow time. My best part though was the coffee. They had regular and decaf. I had the regular and it was so good and satisfying. I even had a refill and i never do that in the evening.
