Legends at Rancho Belago

I moved in 7 months ago. I actually love the area place is kept clean and love the parking here. However the walls here are paper thin.

It was a great place until July when the new management took over. Grounds became unkempt, kids were more out of control than ever, more crime, more broken gates, never got rent invoice on time, so very many issues. I moved out Oct 22 and I have yet to receive my security deposit or any info on it.
It is December 26 and I have yet to receive my deposit or statement.

Everything was fine when we first moved in, a few months into our move we had issues with neighbors smoking weed all the time. We would call the office and they couldn’t do anything about it, even though they told us they had a no tolerance to drug rule. My personal truck got smeared with ice cream all around, some popped a soda can on it. My bfs work truck had rocks thrown in the gas tank and nothing was done. On our last day an idiot spray painted our whit truck with black spray and again nothing was done. Gates are always left open and ppl go in and start fights. Neighbors vehicles were stolen. They told us to make sure that we leave unit clean when moving out, we used a rug doctor to clean it I left the unit spotless better than they had left it for us. They said that a cleaning crew would bill us out because the carpet wasn’t cleaned by a professional, they said that we had to give a 30 day notice even though they gave us a late notice about rent change. We had to the 17 we moved out before then we started to get a lot of calls asking for the key because of new renters, if we gave key by the 11 we would only pay up to the 11^th anger said that wasn’t true that the person in office messsed up. It’s been bullshit after bullshit with them. Why should we pay for a cleaning crew when we left it spotless. Just like they mow the lawn n keep it clean for the tenants it’s their responsibility to clean the unit again before a new tenant moves in. We’ve been out of that place for 2 weeks and we’re still dealing with their bullshit.

Being tenant has been great, I moved in December 2010 and haven’t had a problem since. The neighbors are great, the staff is awesome. Although they do change employees in the office often. The maintenance crew is awesome and efficient.
A bit of advice, if you currently subscribe to any type of dish tv services, you will have to cancel it before moving in. These apartments are serviced by Time Warner Cable.
Also, the grounds here are kept nice, and being a gated community is also a great plus.
