Typical. Okay I read about the poor customer service. I didn’t experience that. I contribute that to Korean store owners just having poor relations with their black clients due to the language and cultural differences. Most Asian people are just reserved. Eh. The lady owner was very kind to me.
Anyways, the one black girl that works there wasn’t very knowledgeable. They keep poor inventory, in that it doesn’t seem like they order what’s needed. I drove all the way out there from Murrieta 2 or 3 times to get hair I was promised would be in. Lo’ and behold they just ordered more of what they already had in and just filled in all the empty racks with that. It is worth it to drive all the way to Tigi’s in Rialto. The store owners have mastered black and Korean relations and have plenty of extremely knowledgeable black staff to assist you. They are always fully stocked.

I had the worst experience here trying to get some good hair. First, the young lady that was attempting to help me was too busy talking to her co-​worker and friend to listen n assist me. Also, as I’m trying on wigs, her friend and other woman crowded around and were commenting, which I thought to be unprofessional and rude. That is why I left and won’t be coming back. Their selections are pricey and not good quality. Plus, they have terrible customer service. Save your time and drive in that same parking lot to World Town, thats where I went and got what I needed.

A waste of time! Like all of the other reviewers, no type of CUSTOMER SERVICE. Asked about braiding hair and was given a quick, no-​help response. Avoid this place like the PLAQUE!!! you have been warned…

Store doesnt open at 9am as advertised on the door, it would be great if they posted their actual hours of operation. When ive gone other times their selection of items is average. Customer service was average.

Omg where do I begin with this place first off the customer service or shall I say lack of, the women behind the counter never want to answer questions and always seem bothered I will not come here again

I only came here because Beauty Spot across the street is closed on Sunday’s. I will say that the customer service is so bad! The ladies on the sales floor were rude and weren’t helpful at all. I walked around looking for a product for a good 15 minutes while the sales associates sat in the corner and chatted it up with each other. When I finally asked for help, they seemed bothered and just pointed to the other side of the store. Now I know why I never come here and I know that I will never come back!

I really love this beauty supply store because they have a huge supply of beauty supply items that the other beauty supply stores simply do not have in the city. I have met the owner of this store and she is a real sweetheart. No place is perfect but I appreciate how hard the ownership & the staff work to take care of their customers. They have a lower grade of weave hair than other stores in the area so that is why it is only 4 stores in the city. They should make their customers put shoes on their kids though. One lady from ‘the hood’ let her little two year old girl run around there dirty & barefoot. That lady was ghetto and irresponsible.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The two young ladies on the sales floor was anything but helpful, they were holding a conversation about a guy one of them was dating, and they gave me a look of disgust when I politely interrupted them to ask for customer service.
This was my first and last time shopping here!
On the other hand I went to Beauty Trendz across the street and received above and beyond excellent customer service! From the moment I walked in the door until I left, the entire staff was accommodating and professional.

I absolutely love this beauty supply I used to go to beauty trend next door but when I kept going to get a certain thing and they never stocked up (natural Shea butter) not only that I do hair and I do a lot of kids and beauty trend didn’t have a big selection of beads and things for kids so I finally said let me just go to MAP I was hesitant because it looked expensive from the outside but I took my chances and tried them out
This is definitely my new beauty supply! I mean they had everything from beads to all kinds of combs to all kinds of scarf and head wraps! A wide variety of hair and all the hair products u can think of I love this place and their prices are very reasonable

They carry a full line of hair care products. Perfect for people on a budget. If you can’t find it here it don’t exist or get ready for a trip to the city. Way better than SALLY’s.

I am going to have to give this place a thumbs down. This beauty supply has capitalized on the well-​known art of markup in hopes nobody knows better… Also they probably make a killing by being one of the few Black-​aimed beauty supplies (next to a small Black-​owned salon next door) with a halfway decent variety in the local. Sorry I had to prove a point to my mom when I was looking at «human» braiding hair and the cost for 16 inch braiding hair was 59.99 (EXCUSE ME???) Sorry, being that I do most of my «hair shopping» in Los Angeles I was like oh hail naw… lol I asked how much a regularly priced $ 69.99−79.99 dollar pack of 16 inch weave (in LA) costs and got a $ 105.00 price tag… BOO Outré Velvet Remi is NOT that bombay PLEASE. #next. Pricey without a cause.

WORST PLACE EVER!
I use Unilocal all the time and just signed in today to warn others about dealing with latosha. Let me start by saying I am disabled and driving, standing around, sitting for long periods of time are all things I avoid due to pain.
So, starting an hour late, she cut my teenage daughters hair. she did not listen to me telling her how my kid wanted it. $ 75 My daughter didn’t like it and I called within an hour of leaving her shop. That was on Friday. She gave me an appointment for imonday. I drive back to her shop at the time she gave me and it was CLOSED!!! I immediately called tosha, while standing outside the shop, again and she said, oh, I’m doing something right now, today is my off day. If my daughter wasn’t standing right there I would have told her where to go, so she gave us another appointment for the next morning. Guess what, CLOSED AGAIN! This time that b****h didn’t even answer the phone.
Crappy cut, the worst service EVER!
UNPROFESSIONAL. And now I have to get someone to fix the cut before vacation tomorrow.
Do NOT patronize that woman! Her name is latosha and I hope she gets closed down real quick. I wish I had given her a check so I could stop payment. Oh, well live and learn and spread the word.
