Tio’s Tacos Numero 3

!!!WARNING!!! DO NOT EAT HERE! They do not use gloves while making the food. This place had the most nastiest tacos and burritos ever. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I wish I had a choice to choose no stars… But I don’t.

Best Mexican food in the area!!! Everything is fresh and made with love. It is reasonably priced too! Love the watermelon and fruit juices;)

I was looking forward to getting a carne asada burrito here, because this was my go to burrito spot back in the day. Unfortunately, I got just as much oil in my burrito as I got carne asada. My wife got the super nacho’s and they were just as oily. The taste was ok, there are a few burger places in town with a better burrito and super nachos though.

This will be my first review ever and unfortunately it will not be a good one :/…womp! My fiancé and I had tried this place a little less than a year ago exactly on the 4^th of July. The food was not good at all. I got a carne asada burrito and my fiancé some Tacos. The tortillas of the tacos were very stale and the carne asada did not have much flavor. The rice in the burrito tasted as if it was about 2 or 3 days old. Not good at all! Even after that, this past weekend we decided to give it another shot (thinking it was going to be different and maybe it was something about that significant day). WRONG! It was the same quality. On top of that their prices are not too good for the quality of food. We will never be going there again!

The best tacos and burritos that I’ve ever had, outside of my own kitchen. Tio’s Tacos might be a hole in the wall, but places like Qdoba and Chipotle are no where near the quality of food as Tio’s.
My favorites are the carnitas tacos with sauce and cilantro and the carnitas burritos. Their burritos are huge.

Maybe it was just the day we went but their beans literally tasted like dirt. My taco salad would have been delicious otherwise. The service was friendly but we had to ask three times for our beverages that they forgot to bring out with our meal. We were half done eating by the time they made it out. Sad,

Delicious! I ordered the taco salad with shredded beef. The beef was tender, vegetables fresh, tastey sour cream and guacamole, fresh taco salad shell. We dined outside because the inside of the restaurant is mostly just a kitchen, cash register stand and a small bar stool area. The only down side was a small selection of non sweet drinks. If you like Mexican fruit juices they have a great selection, and he let us try the flavors. They so gave us chips and salsa to enjoy before the food came. The chips and salsa were so good! I loved the salsa so much I asked for more to put on my salad.

Had lunch here with some co-​workers a week ago.
There are about nine parking spots available with one being for handicapped people. There is a vacant lot behind the building that this restaurant is in, but you are taking a chance by parking it back there according to a sign posted on the side of the building.
The exterior of the restaurant is pretty divey. The restaurant is wedged between a vacuum repair shop and a car repair shop. The interior is divey as well, though it is also very colorful and interesting.
The employees were very nice. They actually brought out our items for us.
We sat outside and ate our food since there is only a small bar facing a wall for inside dining. As my tip mentioned though, that one bag of water does not dissuade the flies at all. Also they painted their patio tables, but they did not paint them correctly so the paint is sticky.
I had the chicken torta with fries and it thought it tasted really good. The portions were good for the price. I had also ordered a tongue torta to-​go and that was really good as well. The meat was very tender. Definitely want to try the other interesting tortas they have.

Very pleasant staff and good bean and cheese burritos

Ordered the enchilada combination plate and the carne asada burrito. The burrito was pretty good and pretty straight forward; beans, asada, rice, and salsa. Very filling and at a good price. No complaints withit. As for the lady: I ordered the cheese enchilada combo w/​orange rice, refried beans and lettuce (sour cream and guacamole) super feeling and yummy. Free large horchata on Friday!

I love their fish tacos, best spot around! Everything tastes so fresh. I love their carne tacos as well.
The place is small, and a real «hole in the wall.» The staff is always so welcoming as well.
There’s a vacuum store next door which is totally random & funny because I never see anyone in there looking at vacuums.

So, I stand corrected … the carne asada tacos are the best tacos you will find anywhere, ever.
This spot is open late, and is delicious. I forgot just how much I loved this place until I went last night. It was totally worth the girl at the counter having a semi-​attitude. I ordered six tacos… Yes, six tacos. I took the tortillas off of four and consumed only the meat. However, it was the best damn meat I’ve ever eaten.
The tacos will run you $ 1.89 if you don’t go when they’re having a special. They have $ 0.99 tacos, but I don’t remember which days. This is a hole in the wall, but it’s the best taco place on the Sunnymead strip. The pollo, asada, y carnitas are all delicious, but the asada is your best bet.
OMG… OMFG. I might honestly go back today. They take credit cards, too.
Oh, and they have a meal deal thing. Three tacos and a drink for $ 5.99. Not bad! This is the spot.

I’m Mexican and I don’t come across to many Mexican food places that I like, this place in the other hand even though it’s very crowded inside the food is not bad at all.
I’ve had carne asada tacos, tortas, bionico (fruit salad) all very good !
not mention the aguas frescas, I love love love the strawberry one .

«SHWARMA» in the Middle-​East & its south of the border equivalent — «AL PASTOR!»
Literally meaning «shepherd’s-style.»
Story has it: The meat for these «shepherd’s» tacos is commonly seen roasting on vertical spits displayed with pride on street stands throughout Mexico. The spits are usually topped with a pineapple, which is thinly sliced and served in the tacos. This method of cooking meat is identical to that used for the spit-​roasted lamb (shawarma) brought to Puebla, Mexico, by Lebanese immigrants in the 1930s. The technique was copied by the Mexican taqueros (taco masters), who substituted pork for lamb. The original stand for tacos al pastor still exists in Puebla, with vertical spits of pork still revolving in front of its huge wood-​burning hearth.
My friend, EP, was raving about this hole-​in-​the wall taco shop in his hometown, Moreno Valley… I nodded in agreement, «Great!» ‘But all the time, suspiciously wondering… Really… ‘Cause I’ve been to Taco Bell… (shrugs)

If you’re going to have al pastor on the menu, then do it justice… ‘Otherwise, stick to rice & beans.

I only came here for their CARNE ASADA BURRITO… it is a generous burrito + the carne asada is OK.
The female cashier was NOT friendly at all towards me — she gave me one of those dirty looks. Now why would they hire a cashier with such a bad attitude? Beats me!
However, the guys working behind the counter seemed genuinely nice and smiled at me, and one of them went out of their way to ask me if I needed anything else. In general, men have always treated me nicer, that’s for sure!
I now go to Loco Burrito across the street… the cashier is ALWAYS friendly (they know how to treat their customers right) + their carne asada burrito is more to my liking.
The only good thing about Tio’s Tacos is that they are open late at night.

I had a friend take me to this taco shop. I was a
amazed on how the food was good. I thought it was it was my first time there. So I went by myself the second time. I was shocked. WOW! This food is still good.
Every plate I had there has impressed me. There is always customers there no matter the time. They also don’t hold back on the portions.
They have tables outside. Maybe two bar stools inside. It is family friendly. Take out. And it does satisfy your craving.

Who cares about the parking! Todos los mexicanos sabemos que la comida de Tios esta a toda madre
