Stopped here on our way to New Orleans. The food and service were great! The cheese enchiladas were some of the best we have had. We also had tacos and my husband had a beef burrito. All were great! The only thing that didn’t win rave reviews from us was the salsa. It was just okay.

Like everything in Morgan City, this place could use a facelift. Otherwise okay. Vegetarian friendly menu, though not vegan. I was able to order a burrito that met my vegan needs. The server was happy to answer my questions and had no complaints about my requests. The ‘salsa’ is served warm and tastes a little like marina sauce, which I thought was completely disgusting. However, they also bring a black bean dip to the table with the chips that was very good. I was happy enough with the food I ordered.

Morgan City has few restaurants. This is an above average Mexican restaurant with very quick and pleasant service. Chips arrive with hot (temperature wise) salsa and hot drilled black bean dip. Menu has much more than your average every day local Mexican and they even offer a whole fresh fish on the dinner menu. My husband who is not the Mexican food fan that i am eats here twice a week when he is in Morgan City for work because it’s consistent good food. They have a good selection of beers and buy one get one free small margaritas.
