Thinker Toys

Love this toy store for the educational types of toys and love that they wrap the gifts! I do wish they had more gift wrap options. It’s my go to store for birthday party gifts. I would also like to see more interactive toys setup so the kids could play while there, it’s a major motivation to getting chores done, allowance earned, and toy’s bought with one’s own money.

They have random toys, books, board games, and stuffed animals.
I liked the store. Good place for a gift or just to look around.
Some things are a little pricey but over all not too bad.

This is a wonderful toy store. It is within walking distance of our house, so my family goes there often to get birthday gifts, baby gifts and to splurge when my son has extra allowance. We like the blend of modern, educational and classic toys, and the staff is always VERY friendly. Plus, the manager does a great job of wrapping gifts.
We haven’t made it to a «special event» there yet. But we hope to!

Always fun and a great place to shop! Staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the items in there… they have events on Thursdays for the kiddo’s and just a fun place!

Went to Thinker toys last night at around 7:45pm and was promptly notified by staff that they close at 8pm. On prob that’s 15 min to find a toddler gift, the gift was found and brought to the counter at 7:52 according to atomic time. The teen girl working there obviously had other places to be as she stated that she had no time to wrap the gift with her rushed attitude. Bottom line, if I am to pay inflated prices to shop small and local the retailer should take better care of the customer. I was back in the car at 7:55 pm… The counter person had the time to wrap the gift however she was lacking the drive to provide descent customer service. Why go back when I can get the same products elsewhere for 15−20% less without the bad attitude.

My wife and I would visit Thinker Toys every time we would go to Carmel. One day while loading up on toys for our son, we mentioned that we were from Morgan Hill, and were surprised to find out that a Thinker Toys was opening up in our home town. Awesome!
Now we have one in our favorite town and our favorite getaway.
Service is great! Friendly and helpful people. Lots of fun and unique toys to play with before you buy. They even have events for the kids every now and then.
If you have a kid, get familiar with this store.

This is a really neat store, reminds me of the Wooden Horse in Los Gatos. Great for quality toys and the ideal shop to let your little one go in and pick out a toy. My only complaint is that it can be a lot pricier (at least for some of the items that I’ve bought or searched for). Example, Melissa and Doug blocks at their store is $ 70 and only $ 50 at ToysRUS. I would much rather give my business to Thinker Toys, but at a $ 20 difference, that is a little steep. Still… go check it out…

Nice little local toy shop. They have a great variety of toys ranging from babies to tweens. Friendly staff. My go to for childrens gifts.

I love unique toy stores. Toy store that have toys that encourage imagination, creative play, and foster learning. Unfortunately most of those type of toy stores are pricey.
Thinker Toys is no exception to the expensive description. However I do love this toy store. When I am looking for a unique toy that I can’t find at the regular stores where every generic toy is sold this is where I go. You won’t find Disney Princesses, but you will find princesses. Melissa and Doug toys are a common sight here. There was even a pedal John Deere tractor and an entire section devoted to John Deere type toys.
There is a well loved and played with train table that my younger daughter is always entertained by. My older daughter loves that she can get all kinds of art supplies and nature toys.
Thinker Toys is not cheap, but their toys last. They don’t have Disney, but they have beautiful fairies. If you are looking for an unique toy that will be cherished for a long time Thinker Toys is the place to go.
