Maybe they’re great for Subaru, but I bought a Lexus RX300 that the salesman’s «wife owned the whole time» that was in «perfect condition» with«no damage.» My fault for not checking Carfax and believing the guy… fast forward a few years later and all of the paint on the tail gate begins peeling off. I take it to the dealer who informs me the whole back(and back passenger door) was repainted and since the repairmen did such a poor job of prepping and sealing the paint there is nothing to do but strip and repaint it. At this stage in the game, the cost isn’t worth it, so I’m stuck with a car that looks like acid has been thrown on it. I will never buy from these guys again, nor trust their sales team.

I didn’t buy my Subaru here but if I lived near Morgantown I might consider it. When somebody thought it would be cute to rip my windshield wiper off the night before, I drove by here and one of their service desk personnel checked to see if they had a replacement wiper arm in stock. Unfortunately they did not but they were kind enough to remove it for me so I could drive home. This place’s service staff seemed to be generally friendly, unlike those pricks who ripped of my wiper arm.

Getting your first car is an experience that you never ever forget and since my experience was at John Howard Motors, I will never forget them! The staff took care of me and my Subaru up until the day I left town and continued upon every call from New York to my car«family» 300 miles away. The associates at John Howard are friendly, knowledgable and welcoming. The truth is no matter where I decide to live, I have no doubt that I will end up going back to John Howard to purchase my next car!
