S&W Wood Floors

I used them for laminate floor installation. They made a huge mess, did all cutting inside so my walls were covered with sawdust, moved furniture to other rooms but did not move it back! I had to move my king size bed from the front of my house to my bedroom, by myself! They stretched the job out over three days, but not consecutive days, so it took a week and a half. They left three doors with no threshold, several nicks, which they said they would be back to fix, last I saw them was October. $ 4800 for flooring from Dandy’s in Morris and another $ 3000 for install, for less than 1200 feet of laminate flooring. They contracted the job out to someone not even affiliated with them!

Called Lyle from S&W Wood Floors 1034 Quail Dr, Morris, IL 60 450 on October 5,2015. Lyle came out and did a measure of my complete upstairs bedrooms and halls and closets. I told him I wanted ¾ inch 2 ¼ solid wood pre finished, I offered a sample to take of what is downstairs, and he told me he did not need it. I was told I would get an email with a cost breakdown. 24 days passed and still no cost break down. I called and left several messages, no return call. I finally got thru to him while he was on a job and he told me he was very busy and forgot about me and would have the cost breakdown in a few days. I finally got the cost breakdown 28 days after he measured the rooms. It was an incorrect cost because Lyle forgot some things like carpet removal. Does not surprise me, it has been so long that he forgot. I emailed the person back who sent the estimate and asked for a new revised cost breakdown to include the carpet removal. No response after 8 more days, it is now t is now 37 DAYS after he measured and NO cost breakdown, no return calls and I have wasted my time with Kyle of S&W Wood Floors of Morris IL.

Lyle refinished our wood floors to perfection! he went out of his way to make a needed repair and Priced the job at a great price! You cant go wrong with S & W.
