I don’t have much to add beyond what the previous reviewer said, other than Dr. Halpern found an issue with my vision that no other eye doctor found. The slight adjustment that he prescribed has been excellent and I have had five pairs of glasses (including two pairs of safety glasses) made there over the last several years and no complaints. Highly recommended.

No complaints here. I see Dr. Halpern for a yearly eye exam; he’s very personable and seems to know his stuff. The ladies at the front desk are very friendly and cordial; they sometimes seem slightly disorganized but they’ve never caused a big problem or hassle.
In my experience this office is fairly punctual, which is often not the case in the medical industry. The waiting area is very, very small, so if you’re bringing small children in here you’ll need to make sure that they’re not running around getting in everyone’s way. There are only 3 or 4 chairs; however, it’s never been crowded when I’ve been there. I almost never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get called back to begin my exam. I really appreciate their effort to keep things moving.
The staff who work in the frames/​materials area are friendly and easy to work with without being overbearing; they let you try on frames without breathing down your neck (something anyone who follows my reviews knows that I haaate).
Going here is a pleasure.
