I decided to wait until I’ve been here a few times before I gave a review. I work for Dekalb Medical under quite a few job titles clinically. And I must say that the MA that worked for Russin, can’t speak for the others, was completely incompetent. I could tell she was going through the motions and did not actually know how to do the work. I doubt she had professional training or certifications. I arrived 15 minutes early, as generally expected, and still waited 45 minutes after appointment time to be seen. That’s ridiculous. I needed to get a referral to see a specialist and when I called the answering service prompts you to leave a voicemail, which is has never been returned and I called 5 times! So now when I need something I have to call the appointment line, which trust me I get annoyed at myself when patients’ call this line for things other than appointments. But there’s no other way to get a response! I was overcharged for my cost-share responsibilities. The MAs here front and back office, need to be either certified or re-trained on their job competencies. Russin herself seems to be an ok PA, she seems rushed as she barely sticks around long enough for you to tell your story. I’ve since moved from the area and can’t wait to find a good clinic.

Piss poor customer service incompetent medical staff. The scheduler Misscheduled the appointment for higher in hopes of billing a higher procedure code for billing. When confronted with the situation the office manager was unhelpful and lacked the skills to resolve the issue. Unless you want to be overcharged and your insurance over billed do not go to this doctors office it is a complete waste of your entire day and money.
