Sports bar with lots of TVs — unfortunately the lady behind the bar was more than useless and we were told she couldnt put on the sports game we came to watch on Sunday at 3pm. Which was on NBC. Treated very poorly — like they didnt want the business. We left very dissatisfied — eapecially after seeing such a good rating on Unilocal. However; we found a great place just 3 minutes away called Dempsters sports pub with two awesome girls and some really interesting food. Would recomend you head there instead

We just moved to New Jersey and our neighbors recommended Ott’s to us for a local place to grab a drink so we decided to take a ride down and check it out for a bite to eat. When we walked in I was surprised to see a lottery counter to the left when you first enter before reaching the bar. There is a long oval bar and past the bar on the right are tables where you seat yourself. Our server was quick to come over, was very efficient, but skipped any pleasantries. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and that came with a side of curly fries. The chicken itself was great and I liked that it came with lettuce and tomato. The curly fries were extra good! My fiancé ordered the chicken cheesesteak hoagie with onions, peppers, lettuce, and tomato. I loved my wrap, but his sandwich was so much better! There are some large tvs around the restaurant and bar and it seems like a good place to hang out during a sporting event. It does have a «dive bar» feeling to it, and there were quite a few people there eating dinner when we arrived.

Wow what a hidden spot in Mount Holly. The bartenders Sherie and Steve are great. The menu is nice. A little bar type food and some nice dinner specials. It was my first time here. And I’m glad I stopped in, for drinks with friends. I had a cheesesteak it was full of meat and awesome. My 4 friends split a pizza. I think I might get it next time. Anyway next you are in town, check it out. There’s a large parking lot in back. Will definitely be back again.

I went in on a Sunday afternoon. Not too crowded and the service was fast. Had a burger, the bun was excellent and really made the burger great! It was cooked as I ordered it and the sauces and bacon, veggies, etc were all excellent. They have a liquor store in back! Yes, I’d definitely go back again the next time I drive down to Mt. Holly.

Otts was my favorite bars in mt holly… over the last year it seems to just keep going down hill! Management keeps running people out of the bar saying they didn’t tip enough. last time I check a tip is a tip. Don’t confront the customer about a shitty tip, provide them with quality service and watch you tips acumulate. Other then that smile a little more or dress nicer set the standards. Surround your self with positive people before mt holly is one bar less…

Looks deceiving from outside, inside is nice and well appointed. The service was good, waitress was very friendly. We had the chicken parm app which was large(three pieces of chicken) and it was tasty. Husband had the chef salad and it was very large and fresh. All in all it was good, everything needed some salt to taste but nothing was bad.

Whenever we come here there is a small crowd and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the location? The food is consistently good and the beer selection is comparable to other bars in the area. It is extremely clean and very reasonably priced. There are package goods for sale that are also reasonably priced.

Great onion rings. Skip the nacho’s Parking is not a big deal. The lot is 50 ft from the side door and there is little if any traffic on the alley

Otts has my favorite BBQ wings ever. Lots of flavor and sweet without being too sweet. Plenty of beer on tap(probably around 20 – 25) and a fairly large menu. Burgers are freshly made in house and good. The parking situation isn’t as terrible as people say, there is a free lot about half a block away. It isn’t lit the best but seems safe enough for me.

I’ve only been here twice, but it was two days in a row. I’m not from the area, I’m from Boston and I was visiting a friend. In my two visits I had the mozzarella sticks and potato skins appetizers, a meatball sandwich, and a pizza cheesesteak. I liked all the food, and I loved the 32 oz, $ 4 mugs of Yuengling. They don’t do stuff like that in Boston. You can barely even get a regular beer at a bar for $ 4. If I lived in Mt. Holly I’d go there all the time just for that. The only downside was that I found the waitstaff to be quite inattentive. The first day we went the waitress asked if we needed more time with the menus and we said yes. She literally waited at least 10 minutes to come back. The next day I had finished my mug of beer and was still thirsty and our waiter just kept passing by our table doing other things without asking if I wanted another. The empty mug is huge, it’s impossible to miss. Maybe I’m just an impatient New England resident, but the service definitely left something to be desired. A little sense of urgency would make it a 5-star establishment in my book.

Tried Otts for a quick bite after a meeting. The tuna over spinach salad(recommended by the server) was excellent. The raspberry beer was refreshing on a summer night. My only complaint was smoking. Really — I thought the days of eating with smoke were over. Although the food was good, we will think twice about dining on the outdoor smoking patio.

If anyone actually reads these posts, I hope Ott’s takes this to heart. Your Medford location is great and I’m sure My Holly could top them but go out and get a permit and put a door on the Main Street. I will not park in that lot and walk down that dark alley/street to come in the side door. I do not feel safe. Sorry but I’ll take the drive and stick with Medford.

Good place, pretty nice, Guy who runs beer pong is great. Problem is not every bartender knows the prices of the drinks and you can get over charged easily. But the bar fits in with the community and the bar hopping schedule.

Great little pub and sports bar. Excellent service, clean, and friendly atmosphere. Parking is a nightmare but obviously not the restaurants fault.

Great place!!! the food is really tasty and the service is outstanding!!! We were there tonight and everyone working there was very friendly. I highly recommend the teriyaki chicken salad. The interior is really nice and I love the changes inside. There are plenty of TVs so you can’t miss the games and the inside is very clean. Parking is a challenge, but quite frankly, not the nightmare described in the previous review. We parked on the street(no problem) and I have never had a problem parking in the lot behind Otts(we’ve used that lot for various businesses over the last 10 years). When the weather is nice, it’s lovely to sit on the patio upstairs. I was pleasantly surprised to see a kids’ menu on the menu too. I thought it would be more bar than restaurant, and I’m so pleased to learn that it’s a great place to have a family dinner and get a drink with dinner.

This spot replaces an Italian pizza parlor that existed there previously. I think it’s an improvement and a welcome addition. The bar has a large number of beers on tap and is also fully stocked with liquors. The food menu consists of typical bar food. I would recommend the buffalo wings and shrimp as they had a good deal of kick to it. The bar has multiple flat screens that run the length of both sides of the bar. It makes for a great place to catch Sunday football games. I think downtown Mt. Holly has a winner.

A couple of weeks ago my husband and I saw a new Ottis’ in the being rebuilt downtown Mt. Holly. We go to the Ott’s in Medford and it is the kind of bar you can hang out in. So seeing a new one closer to home we decided to try it tonight for dinner. We often find local places to sit at the bar for a beer and sandwich and leave early because we are tired from work. The new Ott’s has an nice look from the outside and on the second floor is a brand new deck. The whole building has been redone. We think they should have used another architect for the inside. It is not comfortably designed at all. In fact halfway through out meal we decided to finish quickly and leave. The place is narrow. The bar is long. They have TVs one right after the other down the entire bar and the bar stools are very close to the TVs. They put the TVs up high so that even my husband who is 6′ couldn’t watch the TV because he had to strain his neck. The first round of waitresses were nice but we got there just at the changing of the shift. The second shift was not too attentive and didn’t know what came with the sandwich I ordered. She kept asking me if I wanted fries and I kept telling her that the menu said it came with fries. They use the menus as a table mat which would normally be just fine except that the menu was on both sides and you wouldn’t have known that if it was on the table with silverware on top like the tables were. They also need to make the menu shorter. They are trying to cover too many bases with the menu. One side is all apps, sandwiches, and platters. The other side was pizza. Get rid of the pizza and no one would know the difference and it would cut down on time in the kitchen where the restrauant is busy. Our sandwiches were just ok. Nothing to write home about. I had to ask the barmaid to take our order and ask for silverware at the bar where we were sitting. The food was brought by a runner which was fine but she never asked if we needed anything else. The barmaid never asked us either nor asked if everything was ok and she wasn’t that busy. As we were walking down the bar to leave by the side exit which is near their mini liquir store and lottery sales there was a large man in an Ott’s shirt talking to patrons. I assume he was some type of management. He looked at me so I know he saw me leaving and I barely had enough room to pass by him and he never moved but kept talking to what appeared to be his friends at the bar. They do have a fairly large selection of on tap beers and lots of interesting bottles of alcohol. I asked for a taste of one beer before I ordered a whole glass and the barmaid said she was going to try it too since lots of people were ordering it and she didn’t know what it tasted like. I was glad she took the intiative to taste what she was serving but why hadn’t the staff been offered a taste when the product came in so they would know what they are serving tastes like. There is a free parking lot but it is almost a block away and when we left it was drizzling. What if it were snowing? I hope they make a go of it., We won’t be back. We will go back to Medford.
