Glamour Nails

As a hapoy, loyal customer, I was surprised to read negative reviews. I have gone here for about 8 years. I take my children here regularly. I have had various services. My experience has always been good!
Notably, the other reviews are older. I would recommend new customers give this salon a try. It’s been under new ownership/​management for quite some now. Rennovations were made and there are new staff members.

I went to Glamour Nails on Wednesday for a mani/​pedi and eyebrow wax. During the pedi, they did a really poor job exfoliating my heels and the towel they used on my feet had many stains on it. I should have left right then… when it came time for my mani, and instead of getting freshly sterilized instruments, the man took the SAME instruments he used on my feet and used them on my hands. Two days later, my nail color is already wearing off and chipping. For my eyebrow wax, they REUSED the wooden applicators that had already been used on god knows how many other customers and proceeded to «re-​dip» into the wax basin many times. For any who doesn’t know, this is a HUGE NO NO. They are supposed to dispose of EVERY stick as soon as it has come in contact with a customer. It should NEVER be placed back in the wax. I am so disappointed in the cleanliness and practices that I will NEVER return and will make sure that no one else I know does either.

I used to go here on a regular, tips & all. But, now, I have stopped that, been like years. It has now changed owners, and of course new employees, place has gone through transformation inside, too. I went this Saturday, for quick manicure. It wasn’t busy, couple girls inside, they spoke Chinese, some were Vietnamese. I tried to be cordial, but she really didn’t want to speak, talk, so i was quiet most time. She did an OK job, clipped little smidge too much on my cuticle, but not holding it against her.
