This review is ONLY for their MENS SHOE DEPT:
Went today to try on sizes and compare brands. In the past I’ve worn 4E shoes and now that I’ve lost weight, don’t need such a wide shoe anymore. I usually wear New Balance, they make a good sneaker/running shoe and I’ve worn both medium widths and 2E sizes. I wanted to see if my foot is still a medium or wide size after just working out at the gym.
Their selection is HORRIBLE — lots of different styles but they don’t stock their shoes very well. Lots of missing sizes — not everyone wears 7D or 13 EEE shoes. I wanted to try on 9.5 D and only one New Balance model had my size. I’ve tried on other brands but the sizes aren’t always uniform. Anyway, I would up confirming that I need to buy 2E, which they never carry at any Sports Authority stores.
I would up paying $ 30 less for a 150-dollar New Balance shoe online at Amazon and got free shipping to boot (pun intended).

I thought that the check-in offer of a $ 10 or $ 20 coupon off your bill was cool. I find Sports Authority to be a good general sporting store and it has accessories and gear for just about every sport. But if you are a really serious athlete, I think that taking a potential price hit at a boutique store is worth it, because, like I said, Sports Authority is better for a general outfitting and might not have the exact brand or piece of equipment you are looking for.

Like my Work out gear as much as any athlete.
When I went to this location though their selection was good, prices weren’t the Best. I went looking for work out gloves, mine were brutally killed. Think went thru 2 pair in 1 year. You would think I was laying concrete, construction work or something!! Ha, ha. Though my Callouses on my hands beg to differ. Nature of the Beast!. I went in there, only had certain selection. Some of the work out gear was good, But tend to be overpriced. I have found Under armour, Nike, Etc at the TJMaxx next door, for ½ the price. Somethings you can purchase there, somethings you can’t !! Hey, what can I tell you, I’m a educated Consumer!

I have been coming here since they opened. Although i prefer to give back to smaller stores that are independent I really like to feel of this store and it really boyles down to the people. When you walk in you are greated with a sincere «hello how are you». When you get to the areas there is always someone who know what they are talking about and willing to help. You can alsways find a great coupon online for discount and if you forgot the cashier will provide it to you. Truly a great place to shop for your needs. They also have plenty of shoes sizes which I always found Dicks to be lacking,. Shop here.
