My Nail Spa

Moved here from out of town, and came here by Unilocal suggestion for a pedicure. Idk what kind of low standards people have to rate this place so highly. My nail tech cut the side of my nail to the point where I was bleeding. Tools aren’t kept in a sanitizing station, instead they are sitting in a jar with old paper towels sitting in the bottom of it. Really just gross stuff. Terrible regular and gel polish selection. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

I love here being going since they opened and never had a bad experience, never rush always take there time and help with color choices if you cannot decide! Clean, calm and speedy. Just perfect

Loved this place! They do a great job! I was very pleased with my manicure (gel) and pedicure. They are super nice and this salon is very clean. Defiantly best pedicure I have ever had. They do something very unique. I have found my new nail salon! :)

Honestly they don’t even deserve one star. I left more stressed out than when I arrived. I will not be a repeat customer. I only went because I had a gift certificate.

My first visit went very well! I spotted this shop off Coleman Blvd and needed a quick polish change on my nails. The shop is very clean and doesn’t remind me of your typical shop. I was greeted as soon as I walked in around 5pm on a Thursday. Absolutely no wait. The girl that did my nails was very professional and took her time. I’ll be back whenever I’m in the area.

I have been to My Nail Spa on three occasions now. The male owner of the salon is an EXCELLENT manicurist/​pedicurist and really spends his time making sure that the job is done well. A perfectionist, perhaps — but exactly what you want when you’re spending money!
However, I have had less than perfect service by others in the salon. My gel manicure rarely peels but on one occasion 5 or 6 of my nails were painted over the edges too far (the clear base or top coat) ending up with peeling sides. I ended up removing them myself. When the salon gets busy, it feels rushed and instead of focusing on quality service, my nail tech was rushing to get to the woman waiting for a pedicure. Rushed service = poor quality manicure.
I highly recommend setting up an appointment, and requesting one of the owners — I only wish I knew their names! Another bonus — when you walk in it doesn’t smell like a nail salon! Its very clean — and the pedicure chairs are fantastic!

I have been to My Nail Spa repeatedly and I too will say YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER PEDICURE OR MANICURE ANYWHERE! The staff is very nice and they go above and beyond to make the customer feel pampered and get the best treatment. My nails always hold up great afterwards. The facility is very clean and pleasant. The massage pedicure chairs are state of the art. The nail techs work fast and meticulously but one never feels rushed. Very nice space that has NO FUMES. Great convenient location. You’ll never regret going to My Nail Spa!

I recently moved to Daniel Island and have tried several different nail salons that I chose not to return to. Luckily today I found the salon that I plan to use on a regular basis. The salon is super clean and I got the best pedicure I’ve ever received. I was undecided about what type of manicure I should get and my technician helped me make the correct choice. I look forward to returning in two weeks.

The owner of this salon was my manicurist at my last salon. I followed her to her new location because she is the best! Her manicures and pedicures include little things that I’ve not had done before. The shop is spotless… No odor, fans at each station that suck out the filing dust, and all utensils are sterilized and stored in containers until needed.
Treat yourself to something special and visit My Nail Spa for a wonderful experience.

I would not recommend this salon. The nail tech (female) was not careful while clipping cuticles and kept jabbing me. In addition, my manicure looked like it had been painted by a 5 year old and I asked her to remove the polish. At that point I had already been in the salon for an hour and didn’t have time to have the polish redone. When I got home I realized that my pedicure was messy as well. Isn’t painting in the lines a pretty basic qualification for a nail tech? The salon was empty when I was there which should have been a sign!

Just visited this salon and couldn’t be more pleased. No wait and spotless. My nails look fabulous!

I have been looking for the perfect nail salon for 6 months. I am getting married next month and wants nails to be perfect. I am very picky and have not been impressed by the 15 some place around Charleston I have been to. But I finally found the One! The place was sparkly clean and didn’t smell and my nails are perfectly shaped and painted. Plus I got a great massage! They care about their clients at My Nail Spa. And today they gained another client for life!

Really great pedicure fantastic massage. My new favorite place. Plus walk in child care right next door.

Best pedicure I’ve ever had! Dropped in on a Saturday evening and they took great care of me right away. The owners/​technicians are kind, outgoing, and made me feel right at home. My pedicure was wonderful (much more thorough and pampering than I was expecting). Such a great find and I’m looking forward to many more pedicures there in the future!

The staff was so nice and the pedicure may have been the best I’ve ever had! It is a brand new facility and is very clean. Definitely check it out soon!
