I have been searching for a salon for a year after moving to the area. My hair style was so destroyed while looking for the right place I was very demoralized. I am a licensed cosmetologist so it is important that I look good. I wanted a place that was creative, stylish, professional and sanitary. Heather and Curtis are the owners… honestly it is like going to their home. You are waited on in a fashionable salon with the knowledge you are in good hands… Heather has made my hair look better than it has in years! Penny S.

I’m new to the area just visiting my mother and I’ve been growing my hair out for years. I wanted to get it cut in layers but was kind of scared since my hair doesn’t grow very fast. My mother had gone to her beautician and she was too busy for the both of us so she sent us to «Envy ». I called made my appointment they set me up with«Brooklyn» and boy was I lucky, she said she is usually always booked and just happened to have a cancelation, so I got in. Yayyyy me!!! My mother and I both sat and watched as «Brooklyn«worked her magic around my head. She is like a machine! Explaining to me the whole time the process of what she’s doing and why. I have to tell you I LOVEMYHAIR! !!! It even looks good when I wake up in the morning. Lol Before we left my mother made an appointment with«Brooklyn». I feel horrible that I will be moving to California, but if I was staying she would definitely be my «Girl. Thank you so much Brooklyn you truly are Amazing! I LOVEIT

This is a beautiful salon with many services offered. My experience was so bad that I called my bank to file a dispute and refund my $ 155 which they so graciously did for me. First off, I’ve been looking for a new hair salon for months, since January, because I moved to Bellingham from Issaquah. This place was recommended to me by a lady, after seeing her hair, and I asked where she got her hair done. Let’s just say after 6 months I was in desperate need of color, hair cut, etc. Heather only did a portion of my hair in highlights, not the full head, colored the rest of my hair back to its natural color, a dark color(which was fine) but she decided to color the front of my entire face an inch past the hair line, major mistake. After she took out the foils and started washing my hair, she washed it once, then put a conditioner on it(which took all of 3 minutes maybe) and then she said, «I’m going to put you under the dryer because I don’t want to get carpel tunnel blow drying you.» So many red flags here. I stayed under the dryer for about 30 minutes while she worked on someone else. She put me back in the chair at her station. She blow dried my hair for a few minutes and then used the flat iron ONLY on the top layer of my hair. Now I can’t see very well without my glasses. When she was done, she put my hair behind my ear on the left side of my face and quickly put it back covering the side of my face. Now I know why. I paid the $ 155 and put my prescription sun glasses on and went to my car. I was headed home to Bellingham when I stopped at Outback for dinner. I put my hair behind my ears because I didn’t want it in my face. Little did I know I had an inch of very dark color surrounding my face. No wonder everyone looked at me strange! From Outback I stopped at the Skagit Casino still not knowing what I looked like. I went into the bathroom(I had on my regular glasses now) and looked in the mirror and panicked and said out loud OMG! I immediately started scrubbing, rubbing, and using paper towels to try and get the color off my face. My hair was not silky straight and the cut was terrible. Worst experience ever at a salon! The next day I called up my regular Hair Salon, Studio 8 in Issaquah, Christine, and told her what happened. She set me up for an emergency appointment that day. I drove 2 hours to have Studio 8 fix this mess. Studio 8 redid the highlights on my whole head, fixed the haircut, washed my hair«twice» conditioned it and used other products to make my hair smooth and sleek. I was NOT put under a hair dryer. My hair(shoulder length) was blow dried by layers(which Heather should have done, but of course she doesn’t want to get carpel tunnel) and used a large brush to straighten it and well as use the flat iron to straighten my hair by layers. I walked out of Studio 8 in Issaquah feeling like a new woman and feeling beautiful again, thanks to Christine, the owner of Studio 8.

I highly recommend never going to Heather for eyebrow waxing. My once thick and shapely eyebrows are now nearly gone. On a positive note, they sell great products, and the salon is extremely nice.

This place is unreal, first time I walked in I thought I was at the Trump tower in New York, it’s that nice and relaxing. First class operation, Curt and Heather do a great job as does the whole staff. Me and my whole family go there and we just love the place.
