Very clean and very modern, appears as though it was built within the last two-three years. Incredibly clean and generous sized rooms complete with comfortable beds. Had to interrupt a cross county move with a stop in Mt Vernon for the night due to freezing rain. This was the highest rated hotel, and I can honestly say I have experienced why. I would absolutely stay here again. Great place.

This was a nice hotel. We stopped in on our road trip down to Florida after being tired of driving and almost one-eying it. I had some Marriott Rewards points to redeem so we called and they got us in at the last minute. The room was nice, seemed updated and was very quiet. The location itself was nice for those traveling. If I remember correctly there was a Buffalo Wild Wings and Applebees right next door and also a McDonalds to swing through in the morning. We were up too early and on the road to rate the breakfast but I do know they offered a hot breakfast as well.

Nice hotel. Looks like it has been recently updated. Front desk staff was very friendly. I was surprised that the breakfast closed at 10:00 on the weekend. We went down at 9:30 and they were out of waffles and biscuits. We asked for more and the staff wouldn’t bring out anymore. They said it was too close to closing to put anything else out. We have two kids and this was rather disappointing. This is the only negative. Overall a nice place.

After driving all day we did not anticipate having to kill a BUG in our room. To make matter worse the lAdy working the front desk stated that when this occurs she normally change the guests room but she didn’t have one to change us to… um, does this means this happens on a regular basis? she stated it happens if it rain outside! She took $ 10 off our room and suggested Hampton Inn! Needless to say we had to stay… no rooms available at other hotels at 12 am. we checked out today and again no care, concern or apology for the incident! save yourself from being an exterminator while on vacation. We are gold rewards members and our first time staying at a Fairfield Inn… customer service need to improve.

Every hotel owner, manager, and employee should visit this Fairfield Inn and meet Gayla, a very kind lady who was working in the breakfast area this morning. She could teach everyone about kindness and how the little things you do can make a persons whole day. I’m not talking about her doing anything over the top… She just radiated love and a caring attitude to everyone she encountered. I was getting breakfast for my family to take up to the room. I have done this many times in many hotels. I have often asked employees if they had a tray and have always been told no, so I never really ask anymore. Gayla walked up to me and said«good morning» with a smile, then pointed to the items I had put aside for my family. «Are those yours dear?» she asked. I said that they were. «Would you like a tray dear?» she offered, and I swear I saw angel wings behind her back! I gratefully and thankfully accepted her offer and finished preparing my things. I told her she was my hero and she told me everyone needs an angel sometimes… She had someone be an angel to her over the weekend and said it was the least she could do. Gayla was the cherry on top of our stay here. The Inn is clean, modern, and every staff member we saw and talked to was genuinely friendly and attentive. We got a king suite for the price of most smaller rooms in other hotels. The breakfast was good(nothing fancy, but good). I would look forward to staying here again. Keep up the good work Fairfield! And take good care of Gayla! She’s an angel! :)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I received a 30 dollar military discount from here. That is one of the biggest military discounts I’ve ever received as should be. The lobby was very clean and had a good vibe. The room and hall smelt good. I had a 2 queen room which was extremely roomy and nice. Nice tv, refrigerator and microwave. Has an indoor pool as well. Clean sheets and walls. Very nice hotel and I plan on staying at the Fairfield inn’s from now on. I 100% recommend this specific one to anyone.

At last, a nonsmoking room that smells wonderful, unlike so many nonsmoking rooms that smell of stale cigarette smoke covered up with room deodorizer. Check in was fast and friendly, we got a military discount, large flat screen HD tv, room is spotless, smells fresh, reasonably priced, spacious and lovely. Only drawback is the vanity, toilet, and shower is all in one room but hey, I’ll take that over dirty and cramped any old day. Definitely making a note to stay here again.

So I was beginning to feel like I really had Fairfields figured out. The old ones have the green floral runner on the bed and green carpet while the new ones have blue and orange décor. This one has me a bit confused. I think it’s fairly new but it’s kickin’ it old school green. This is my first time staying here but I’m impressed by my room. I was upgraded to a King studio, so I will load pictures of that room. It’s pretty nice. It’s weirding me out a little — like I was transported back a few years to when the green floral was the new look. It’s a nice Fairfield though. Food options nearby: Cracker Barrel, Arby’s, McDonalds, etc. No need for a full list — just use Unilocal, right?
